ctrl+shift+v to paste clipboard content unformatted now starts a video call
The new keyboard shortcut to start a video call overrides the default "paste unformatted" shortcut which is essential. This should be configurable or the shortcut for start video call changed.
Sorry for the delay in updating the status – as of desktop build 1.1.00.252, this is resolved. Please reply if you are still having issues. Thanks for using Teams!

The changes made by Alex seem to have fixed the issue. I am now able to use ctrl+shift+v to paste instead of start a call.
I agree, the loss of the paste-as-plain-text feature is quite frustrating. I also wish that the default paste behavior could be set to plain text, because my colleagues and I usually just simply want to copy and paste plain text, 90% of the time, and the pasting of styled text is a constant hassle that causes broken or mismatching styling across Teams, MS Word, and OneNote.
I've lost count of the number of times that I've seen coworkers mess up the text styling in Teams, Word, and OneNote, because they simply want to copy and paste the text but the styling came across with it.
Please consider adding an option to change the default paste behavior.
Please also add copy and paste commands to a context menu, so that BOTH options are available:
(1) Paste as plain text.
(2) Paste as styled text.
I've also noticed that coworkers end up with unexpected TABLES in Teams, Word, and/or OneNote, because they expected only the text to be copied, but a table (or part of a table) was also included in the copy and paste operation. IMHO, the default behavior should be to paste as PLAIN text, and paste-with-styles should be an option in a context menu. Thanks for reading.
I am used to using ctrl+shft+v to paste without formatting, which even works when pasting into a team channel, but when that keyboard combination is used in a chat it starts a call. This is surprising behavior.
Maybe using a different keyboard shortcut to start a call would be better.
This behavior was quite unexpected for me today. I accidentally started 4 calls in one hour. Don't know whose idea this was, but you should definitely get read of it.
