Deleted conversation entries are still shown under Activity
My college replied to a team conversation which mentioned me in the text and deleted the reply again shortly after.
When I opened MS teams later I got a notification under Activity. Clicking this activity opened the according conversation but of course marked nothing.
--> Very confusing, as I had to talk to my college to figure out, that she deleted the reply and the Activity notification is just not deleted accordingly.
Please fix this, it is a security issue

Same thing.. password. There is also a concern about private IP info being posted on public channels and not being able to delete it.
A team mate accidentally typed his password in a channel not realizing where his cursor was until after he pressed enter. He deleted the message, but his password was still in the Activity notification for everyone to see.

I had a notice post in the activity then I click on it to go to the conversation and reply, but I am not finding the message anywhere. How do I know if the message was deleted or not? When I click on item from activities, shouldn't it go directly to the post?
This should be fixed as it can be very confusing. Just had the same experience as described in the idea..
We just had this in our Team. The posts still shows in Activity, but because it had been deleted when you click on it, it goes no where. No bueno.

I agree, it should either delete the notification from the activity feed OR when you click on the activity stream it should take you to the channel with a message saying that the post has been deleted probably easier to implement). I believe this is what happens in mobile but not in the desktop app.
You can also read the deleted message in the activity stream, which is not really deleting the message.

Had the same happen to me just now - surely the last activity should have been "*** deleted their reply" or something like that.
