Share video and audio during meetings
During meetings we need to be able to share an online video with team members. Videos could be in Stream or Youtube or Vimeo or others. And this includes sharing the video sound. Currently we use normal Teams screen sharing, but all team members on the call can either hear or see, the video/audio are always asynchronous.
This feature is currently in internal testing. We will keep you updated as it gets closer to release. Thanks.

I'd like to be able to use include system audio for videos and audio in meetings on Surface Hub and Mac like you can in Windows.

I created a live Broadcast to see if I could get audio to Attendees. The Attendees we're able to see the video, but know audio was present. Is Teams able to have audio with the video in the live broadcast? If so, how does that get setup? Appreciate any feedback or input you have on this.

Just early this month (AUGUST), I was able to broadcast my video presentation as a presenter with no problems.
But 2 weeks after my presentation, the audio of my video presentation suddenly stopped working.
I hope this get's resolved the soonest as I will have another town hall meeting in SEPT which I really loved the way I was able to present last time. Thank you.
I am still not able to share audio with video. Does anyone have an idea?

Has there been any further progress with this feature? It really is essential to be able to share video sound in Teams. An update would be greatly appreciated.

This is a necessary function for the monthly update presentations.
While this feature is being tested, if you need to show a video clip in a TEAMS or TEAMS Live Event, here is what I do:
I have a Black Magic Web presenter that I use regularly to incorporate the feeds from an A/V panel and a HD camera into TEAMS and Webex meetings. The web presenter treats the feed as a USB source replacing the webcam and USB headset. It also synchs the audio up with the video playback eliminating the latency issue.
I take an HDMI out from a second laptop into my presenter laptop via the web presenter. I play the video clip back (sometimes the second laptop is a Mac playing back sing Playback Pro, sometimes it is a PC playing back using Windows Media app)
Using this method avoids problems with low bandwidth attendees joining from home over home wi-fi (with a VPN running) because the size of the playback screen can be controlled to some degree by the attendee. It works, but the web presenter is not especially cheap.
Alex, can you provide us with an update on this feature? Your announcement that it was being tested was over two months ago.

This would be tremendously helpful as a feature in Teams. We frequently show videos, both hosted internally and externally, and making this more seamless would be a huge boon.
Glad to see it's being tested. Please keep us updated. It's a core capability/requirement that needs to be implemented quickly.
Is this feature available in Office Fast Ring yet?
Great to hear in testing - any updates - we have 30-40 members of staff (from 3000) who want to use teams as a recruiting tool but have to use Zoom because PPT won't play in the presentation.
