Teams has hijacked several keyboard shortcuts
Teams has hijacked several keyboard shortcuts as of early december, and will not allow them to be used even in other programmes.
This is particularly annoying as one of them, ctrl+alt+d, is probably the most used shortcut on my keyboard - I use it a couple of times a minute while working. Is it possible to make these keyboard shortcuts reassignable, or at least to stop Teams from interrupting other programmes?

What is the status here, working on it since a year?

This issue claims that it is fixed in 1.1.00.252, but I have 1.1.00.14359 and I still cannot use Ctrl+Shift+Space in Visual Studio while screen sharing. Any thoughts on a fix?

Yet another example where no single implementation will please everyone, underlining once again the requirement for meaningful configuration options.
I also note that the main applications for which this is a problem are common Microsoft applications, including Office. This is not an obscure problem with Dodgy Bob McMayday's Match3 Game and Bitcoin Miner (installed base 11 people), it's something which affects a large proportion of Teams users.
And also again, this is a UI 101 problem - users spend 90% of their time using other applications. If application X screws up other applications, people won't replace everything else, they will replace application X.
I also received an e-mail asking me to test again. Also I have checked for updates but the issue with Ctrl+Shift+Space is still not working.
Received an email saying a back-end fix had been released and asking that I test it again. It's still registering a global hotkey for Ctrl+Shift+Space. I checked for updates and also enabled Developer Preview mode, just in case, but nothing changed.
You can see this yourself by running Spy++ and message logging all windows for the WM_HOTKEY message. The message properties include the process ID. That's how I tracked down this issue in the first place.
Teams hijacking Ctrl+Shift+Space interferes with Visual Studio's Show Parameters feature.
It does this even though this particular shortcut combination is not listed in Teams as a shortcut. Very annoying.
Same here, I keep accidentally starting a call when I am just trying to plain text paste.
Teams also hijacks the default "Save all" shortcut in Microsoft VS Code on Mac OS (Cmd+Alt+S).
Teams' shortcuts should not be global across applications, or at least editable.
They've hijacked Ctrl+Shift+V (paste as plain text ) now as well.

Also Keypass is not useable anymore because Teams overrides the Ctr+Alt+A shortcut.
Please fix this ASAP
Addition to comment "Teams hijacks the shortcut for nonbreaking space in Word (365-version), very annoying"
The “nonbreaking space” (Ctrl+shift+space) in word (office 365 ProPlus) stops working when Teams is running. As a workaround, I may add a new shortcut (e.g. Ctrl+;) replacing the default one but since I’m used to use the default it would be nice to get that back. I have not noted any other shortcuts that Teams hijacks for me, except Nonbreaking space in word (and Outlook)
The shortcut key works fine if i close Teams
I’m running Swedish keyboard layout and win 10
