Personal workspace along with Teams
I think it would be great to have a personal workspace that lives along side your Teams. This would give you a similar toolkit as a Team with the conversation element pulled out. You would have quick access to your files (OD4B), OneNote, important stuff, etc. via tabs and then could use
I suppose this would just be the merging of the chat and files tab into a space that would also give you the ability to use tabs and connectors.
Might need some workshopping, but I think this could be a powerful way to get people spending a lot more time in Teams.

Planner is being worked upon, the topic is found at:
https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16926463-need-full-capabilities-of-planner-in-teams
OneNote has been added and can be found in the store link within Teams.
Other items are still being added and third party bots and apps are being created as well.

In order to make Teams the central command it is supposed to be we need the ability to have our "own personal team". Having all the things that are not to be shared in this personal workspace. This is really missing!

This would be great for educators to have alongside all of the different teams we oversee or belong to. Hate coming in and out to my ONENOTE

I agree with everyone else. As an executive assistant, we are asked to do so many things for different people. Would like a place to support me and what I need to do. I am going to set up a Teams site of one - me! Need a tool to help me be the glue and keep things in one place.

Agreed! I would really love to carve out the important information (or the information directly impacting me) and remain in the ecosystem. How can we push this through? Do we need more votes?

There's a lot of business to be done in a day that isn't relevant to a team. A personal workspace gives a lot of flexibility to incorporate these items into your daily workflow. Just above or below the teams tab could be a personal workspace tab that can be customized just like a one-person team. The more a user can stay within the Teams ecosystem, the more effective and widely adapted the current features can be.

Agree, a personal space in Teams would make it a comprehensive user experience.

Agreed that the Try this Instead isn't relevant to the request.
I want a single place for all of my "personal" stuff, but I want to be able to pin my "personal team" to my Teams page so that I can go to it faster. I'm currently just using a Wiki, but even that is inefficient to get to because instead of just having a personal comments that feeds into a Wiki or something, I have to completely switch screens.

I have to agree with comments below, the "Try this instead" status isn't really relevant to the request.
Have seen users create their own private teams groups just to be able to have their own workspace with everything in one place. This makes alot of unnecessary groups.

This would be awesome. Right now i created Tabs in my department Team. But i want to have it on a "my site", where i can add all the apps that teams provide. like a private hub for me
additional advantage: if i have a own workspace i dont have to hop between different apps e.g. Outlook, Teams.

A personal workspace isn't necessarily a request for Planner so I think the 'Try This Instead' Status isn't really relevant...
I visualize a Workspace tab in the same sidebar as Activity, Chat, Teams, etc... It would essentially be a personal 'Teams' space where you could store all of your files/docs, open your personal OneNote, ask Who questions, or view your personal Planner etc..

This will be a great addition to teams. The ability to have my personal notebook together with web pages to the locations I care about (my filter in Jira for issues, tasks assigned to me, etc.) will greatly improve my productivity.

I've created a Team with just me and added Web links to OWA, Find Time and Yammer and trying to decide if Planner or a 3rd party tool will help me manage task best. Love the idea of making this an integral part of Teams

Agreed - I'm finding that the more I work in Teams, the more I struggle to work out where to save my personal notes etc. Opening OneNote seems counter-intuitive, when I have OneNotes running for all my Teams and then I have to leave to write my personal ones... 3 spaces would be helpful: conversation in the channel, chat for PMs and my space ;)

This would be really great! A unique access point to office 365 feature from teams is usefull and many features are needed also for personal use, it should be a default area like a mono-team by default....
