Banner notification on second monitor
I, and many of my colleagues, do many presentations using screen sharing to potential customers. I share my primary monitor to the customer, but the second monitor is offstage. It would be most helpful to have a setting of where the banner notifications appear (on which screen/monitor). I like getting the notifications, but I need them to show up "offstage" instead of on my primary monitor.

The msg will appear on your primary monitor. I have a Surface Pro plus 2 monitors to the right and it always showed messages on the far right monitor (which turned out to be my primary monitor). As soon as I changed the primary to the Surface Pro, msgs now appear here. In regards to where they show, you can change this is "Notifications & actions" -> "Display Settings". they can be shown as popups (banners) or in the action center. I hope this helps.

How many posts do we need to put up before MS will even comment?? This is such an obvious requirement and would keep a lot of us happy.

Bump. Please let us customize where these show. It has been driving me insane in the upper right. (Mac user)

This is a completely crazy UI implementation. If I've moved Teams to a monitor other than my primary, I don't want to see the notifications on a different monitor (the primary). This has lead to several embarrassing moments when presenting to prospects/clients while discussing with colleagues in parallel. The feature needs to be renamed "how to lose a client in 10 seconds" :-D

Please do this. I appreciate the notifications but they inevitably get in the way when I'm doing work on the bottom right of my main monitor. Very frustrating!

PLEASE! We zoom with students and when we screenshare it is a HUGE problem! We need to be able to move to another monitor!

It is super super annoying when I am typing and that box pops up. I know I can stop the notification altogether, but it is generally useful. Also, another big complaint is you can't tell if the chat notification is part of a GROUP chat or an INDIVIDUAL. This is dangerous. More than once I have replied in-line to a person when in fact that person was part of a larger group chat so then everyone else was able to see what I wrote, which was definitely not my intention. It should be a certain color to indicate GROUP vs. INDIVIDUAL. Or use an icon somewhere.

the location of this banner harms the experience of using Teams

Please add a option page for a "choose location of banner" or even better make it "drag & drop"
Users which use the phone system addon are suffering from this -

Inability to move the notification banners to another screen is especially infuriating in that it overlaps active chat area while in a video chat - making it impossible to reply in a meeting with many participants. MS - please add this!

In large meetings, you simply cannot see/respond to ongoing chat. Really poor design choice.

Seriously! It's 2021 & we still have no option to choose where the popups appear! C'mon, Microsoft!

This is 3 years now and that feature has not been updated. Is it that hard to move the notification banner to a different location? @microsoft

Any update on consideration of this feature? The Skype notification pop-up was simple in that you could force it to another monitor and position on the monitor where you wanted it to show.
While not a mission critical item, it is a usability pain point especially for those of us that have planned and unplanned meetings only to have an internal pop-up come up.
Please put this on the list for resolution as soon as possible.

Countless times a day I find myself typing something out and a notification pops up directly over what I'm typing. It completely distracts me and also I have to get the mouse to get rid of it. Need a way to still have notifications but not directly on where you're typing

Loved this option in Skype but our organization has moved to Teams. Really miss the ability to change the banner notification default location.

Yes, I also have the Teams app running on my secondary monitor and would like that chat, notifications, calls etc. woul only pop up/notify me on that monitor. Or al least have a setting that could control where they appear (specific monitor, all monitors etc.)
