Join Meeting Button
When I schedule a meeting as a Skype Meeting it adds a "Join Meeting" button to the Outlook reminder that pops up. That button does not exist when I schedule a Teams Meeting. It should.
Without that button I have to double click to go into the calendar item, locate the hyperlink to "Join Teams Meeting", click that, which opens my web browser, and then the web browser tries to launch the Teams app, but first asks me for confirmation, which requires another click. You've added several layers of unnecessary clicks which impede my ability to join a meeting.
Just include the "Join Meeting" button in the reminders that are generated for a Teams Meeting the same way the button is there in a reminder for a Skype meeting.

Outlook meeting reminders now include the Teams meeting join button in the reminder! When you click the join button, it will bring you to your meeting.

Note that the Join Online is missing in Outlook 2016, for Teams meetings.
It _is_ available in Office 365 Outlook, for Teams meetings. The redirect via the Browser remains annoying - and is requested to be replaced by direct launch of the Teams app, when installed and running.

+1 - Fix it please.
Not working from Teams -> Calendar -> New Meeting.
Seems to work in Outlook -> Calendar -> New Teams Meeting -

Please solve this issue, instead of adding new useless features. Otherwise the transfer from skype to teams will take even longer.

This is ESPECIALLY important for us as our users are launching Teams Meetings/Live Stream via Teams within a Citrix Desktop. User clicks to "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" in the body of the calendar invite/email, it defaults to the browser. So, user community is watching the stream/meeting within the Teams within the browser and not the client.
This doesn't take advantage of the recent Performance Optimizations that Microsoft and Citrix built into Teams and the Citrix Workspace App and is causing high resource utilization on my Citrix Servers (impacting performance.)

My Teams reminders do have the "Join meeting" button, but clicking it does not open Teams. Clicking it opens in my browser, and then I have to click Launch Teams (which is already launched), and then it joins me to the meeting... This seems like unnecessary clicks. Is this the design, or is something configured wrong on my end?

I've noticed that sometimes the "join now" button appears and sometimes it doesn't. We've tried scheduling meetings through Teams and Outlook different ways and there is no consistency as to when the button appears and when it doesn't. It is very frustrating! I vote that the button always appear if you have the Teams App!

This is definitely a pain point for most of us though most have not voted or posted comments. I have many meetings in the day and since Skype is phased out (and we are now used to it), I really miss that "Join meeting" directly from the reminder in Outlook. It is a pain in Teams to open the meeting invite and click the link which takes you to a browser and the browser takes a (little to a LOTTTT) while until the standalone Teams app is opened up. This is real pain !!

I thought there was a join now button on the pop up reminders in outlook to join a teams meeting, but now I don't see it. I've switched to Teams only so that might be the cause, but I have reports from other Users that are not Teams only saying the same thing. PLEASE fix!!!!!

Is the "Join Meeting" option in the Outlook reminder only available for those that have migrated their mailboxes to Exchange Online?

Is this available for 1808 Semi-Annual subscribers? I found this article: https://www.howto-outlook.com/news/update-2018-8-ol2016.htm

This must be part of the Teams integration for Outlook, how can this be enabled?

I have this option available to me in my tenant, but several of my coworkers don't. Has anyone figured this out?

I do not see this implemented in Outlook but Valentin Guerin stated it was. How do we enable this?

If this was implemented I do not see it working I vote for this ASAP.

I vote for this. It is too complicated to join meetings without that.
