contacts list for a team
within a team there can be a shared contacts list; i.e. for a specific project. Is there a way to have a shared contacts list per Team?
It would be nice having a shared contact list for a team. So when a new team member enters, he or she immediately has all the contacts available that could be required for team related communication. Also convenient for calling, messaging or e-mailing through the mobile teams app
We will need the users grouped by the organization setup, such as departments and teams. We believe these already come from the AD properties, all we need to ensure is they are up to date.
Great idea. SharePoint has the option to add Contacts pages. This should be easy to implement into Teams.
I'd also like to see the ability to add Contact groupings inside the list. Then individual teams don't need to have I.T. set up a distribution list and populate contacts. We can do it on the fly and share them directly with the Team.
Ideally the format should be something we can sync with Outlook. That way when we create an e-mail, the contact list from our Teams shared list would automatically populate.
I'll take it a bit further. It would be nice to have a contacts formatted view where we can filter on company name, location, etc.
