Option to move/copy a reply to another or new conversation
Option to move/copy a reply to another conversation, best via a kind of drag and drop.
Often replies get posted as new conversations or a reply is actually better to be a new conversation.

A simple drag and drop would be amazing. Replied to the wrong conversation? drag the reply to the correct thread.

This item in particular is the one people in my organization complain about the most; I fear it's ruining the credibility of Teams in this organization.

Yes - and, as stated by others, allow us to move new conversations that are actually replies into the thread in which they belong!

i would support it and even add drag and drop another conversation =>" reply"

I think this would be one of the simplest improvement to make Teams better. It's very often that someone writes a new conversation instead of writing a reply, then sees it, and has to copy all text, and insert it as a reply instead.. just make it possible to drag (at least your own) new conversation into another conversation as a reply!

I believe:
A) there should be a channel manager role that allows this new functionality.
• allows them to move new conversations into replies (ideally going into the correct spot via timestamp and maybe having a small one-line message at the bottom of the conversation notifying that a reply was added above with a link to it). Any replies to the conversation would also be moved to the new conversation.
• They would also be able to break replies into a new conversation if it makes more sense and move any replies to that reply to said new conversation.B) Anyone can mark a conversation as needing to be a reply to an existing conversation.
• The poster would get a notification of this
• The poster would be able to click a link/button which would move it to the conversation for them.C) A poster always has the ability to move a reply to a conversation and vice versa (maybe drag-and-drop)
This functionality is very important to channels where there are many new users who are in the process of learning Teams. It's also important for the occasional mistake (and apparently for some management who seem to not have the time to find the right spot to click ☺).

This would be my number one ask for Teams. I have tried and tried to educate users on keeping conversations going via reply, but the UI just doesn't lend itself to this and we just end up with tons of separate conversations all losing context.
Having the ability to "move" a separate conversation into a reply would be very very useful.

New and seasoned users consistently make the mistake of creating a new conversation versus replying. It is awkward and bad experience asking people to re-post the same message. I am surprised so little votes to date. Maybe this needs a merge with a duplicate request.
