Support macros and VBA in Excel workbooks.
Excel workbooks opened in Teams need to support macros and/or VBA code.

No resolution to a basic Excel function that has become a dependency for many organizations?
Teams penalizes us for using this basic Excel function (the ability to create and use macros). If you can't make them function online, please allow us to set a default "Open in Excel" instead of having to select it every time, then select OK, then check the box in Excel to remove its ReadOnly status - this is a ridiculous sequence to have to repeat over and over in an application that is supposed to improve productivity.

I agree with this. We use the DocuTools plugin for Word, which is basically a set of Macros. We can't preview the documents in Teams. Have to open in SharePoint and then can preview, but mostly we have to open the Doc in Word itself. Frustrating for myself and my 9 team members because we all use DocuTools and we are trying desperately to use Teams on a permanent basis. Becomes difficult when it doesn't work the way it should.
