Remove the Activity feed
The Activity feed seems redundant and unnecessary, leading to confusion. Instead, just show an icon on the tab that there is activity on, and give a clear path of icons showing where the notification is.

The activity feed items clutter our channels. Some of the items are several years old and still showing them in the channels has no added value for anybody.
Please have a look at the screenshot. I understand that my teammates are complaining that they have to scroll through screens of useless information before getting to the actual important content.
Please note that this screenshot only shows a small part of the actual list. The actual list is much, much longer.
MS: please give us the possibility to delete activity feed items or even better an option not to display them.

I keep getting the "(1)" in my Teams web tab and most times it is just a feed notification. This happens despite having ALL notifications off for the channel. Very distracting and redundant, its quite frustrating I can't disable the feed or at least hide the red dot and other notifications.
If all notifications are off for a channel it should not notify me of activity via the red dot and tab name change.

Please make the Activity feed an optional feature, so I can turn it off.
For me, the Activity feed only contains two types of information:
1) "I already read it because I got a notification for it."
2) "I don't care."
The feed seems to be informed by some poorly-designed and/or poorly-trained heuristic.
Recently it decided that I care about every post my boss makes anywhere, including channels I have hidden and conversations I have muted.
So, for the past month, the feed has been a useless fire hose of things I flatly *do not* care about.
The tab exists only to be an annoying red dot on the left side of my peripheral vision that I can remove for only the briefest of moments.
If not remove the Activity feed, I would support a changing the interaction of "My Activity" and "Feed" from being a drop down to a tab like in chat for "Recent" and "Contacts". This would allow for a clear and easily identifiable alert icon as well.

It's impossibly to find anything quickly in the activity feed because it constantly changes order. I'd much rather see chats + teams items in one view.
don't agree with that, being an heavy user, activity feed makes my life easier, and every user currently have the choice to use it or not (going directly in the Teams/Channel), so why change
This would be a MUCH better solution and simpler it seems. Would make the other bugs, features, etc of the actual Activity Feed obsolete.
