Start calendar week on monday (or allow setting)
Using the desktopversion, when I want to plan a meeting, my weeks start on Sunday. I'm used to weeks starting on Monday, so I spent half an hour planning (and replanning) meetings.
Currently, start day for the week and the work-week are set based on your language in Settings in Microsoft Teams. The Calendar team has work on the backlog to address the case where users may want a different week/work-week start day than is usual for their language setting.
Until then, the team wanted to share this workaround for setting the work-week start day via OWA, while leaving your language settings as-is.
- Open Outlook Web Access (“OWA”), and go to the Settings panel, as described in this article: https://support.microsoft.com/office/calendar-settings-in-outlook-web-app-84544ef2-d5cf-4696-bcb3-cc87719a3e07.
- In the OWA Settings, click “View all Outlook Settings”
- Use the settings under “Show work week as” to choose your work-week days.
- Click “Save”
- Return to Teams, click on your photo/initials at the top right and choose “Sign Out”

Required similar calendar settings present in the Outlook, as unable to change my work week days from Sunday to Thursday (Start of Week from Sunday ) in the Middle East region.
Working in Middle East where the week is starting in Sunday. Unfortunately cannot change it and it is confusing when we plan meeting. Can we be allowed to change the settings to start on Monday OR Sunday depending on our needs ?
please allow a setting to change the workweek layout to a different day in Teams calendar. This is very useful in project planning with a global company.
Please create a setting in Teams that allows personalized Teams Calendar work week. We in middle east have regional settings as UK but our work week starts on Sunday.
I would like to set Sunday as the first day of the week regardless of the language settings
Please create a setting in Teams that allows personalized Teams Calendar work week. I would like to show the entire 7 day week starting on Monday - cannot do that today.

Change your settings in outlook ONLINE, (day of the week ..)
Save or close
Open teams again.
Nothing to do with language....
Please, do something!
If I can adjust the first day of week in Outlook then it follows that I ought to be able to adjust it in Teams. Thanks
Agree im in United Arab Emirates and facing the same issue
Please allow users to choose their own workdays in TEAMS. some of us work shift patterns
Please allow users to choose their own workdays in TEAMS.
I am used to see my calender starting on Monday (Not Sunday). For me Sunday belongs to previous week. This must be possible to set.
Also we have 6 days work week, Monday to Saturday. It must be possible to see my work week with 6 days!

Teams needs to allow personalisation of the weekly start day. Mine is Monday, not Sunday

My calendar starts on Monday by default; I want to switch the starting day of the week to be Sunday.
Agree. The Microsoft outlook/Teams calendar should accommodate for those who work in the middle east, where the working week is from Sunday-Thursday. This should be automated through changing the region on your outlook calendar..

My Online (web) version of Outlook is configured to Monday as first day of week, but Teams is still incorrect, even after logging out and back in as anonymous suggested. I agree with other posts, we should be able to configure this the same as we can in Outlook.

Teams calendar settings should sync with the Outlook settings.
