Copying text - hovering menu hides the end of the text
When copying text from a message, the ending of the message is hidden by the "More Options" hover.
The redesigned and expanded message actions have rolled out to all users. If you are still not seeing this, please reach out to email@example.com.

Triple clicking copies the time stamp, sender and the prior message.
Please fix this.

please fix this soon, we also have lots of users complaining about this issue.
I run into this issue all the time, and am, frankly, surprised its been an issue this long. IF you have a short message and need to copy any part of it, it becomes extremely difficult to impossible. Especially if the whole word gets covered up by the options that show up when you hover. Perhaps moving them to a right click context menu, making them smaller, or even moving them out of the chat bubble and maybe introducing little icons, or a small drop down icon just outside. This really is something that needs to be looked at and worked on.
It does not make it difficult, but IMPOSSIBLE to copy text under the hover !!! Really annoying, almost a daily problem.
It's a piece of **** feature. can't copy text. remove the save thsi message and like this message and the fire the DEV who created this feature.
@Microsoft PLEASE ALREADY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING.

Most annoying thing of Teams!

Actually, in an IM like application, I don't need "Mark as unread", "Immersive Reader", "Like this message"
And the pin message should be outside of the speech bubble, not inside it hovering what important, the message text
Tripple clicking will select all of the text yes, but will also select the next message and the date which makes it completely useless.
Does MS understand the difference between a productivity utility and one strictly used for social chat?
I don't want emojis hijacking my code
I don't want forced copy-paste of html tags
I don't want to "like" or "save" any comment, much less my own
I don't want "smart" quotes or hyphens

Not double click, but triple click, sorry.

Or if you do double click, you end up selecting multiple comments with usernames and times.
has this been fixed recently? im seeing the thumbs up and ... high up the page now.
the like button that pops up on each chat message when you click or high light is in a very annoying and dis functional location.
If you need to copy text at the end of the chat bubble the like button is blocking it and you would need to copy the entire thing
PLease please remove it or put it somewhere else.
In chat, the mouseover icons overflow the text so it's impossible to select (highlight) the text underneath.

Can we just get an option to disable? I don't need an entire redesign. Just turn the feature off.

Fix this ASAP. This is real painful for copy contents from chat.
This is a real PITA...I need to copy and paste w/o all of the extras
Please fix this. Its infuriating
Laughably bad UI. And MSFT wonders why customers will never trust Defender ATP regardless of how well they may tailor the logic to score high on Gartner.
