Copying text - hovering menu hides the end of the text
When copying text from a message, the ending of the message is hidden by the "More Options" hover.
The redesigned and expanded message actions have rolled out to all users. If you are still not seeing this, please reach out to email@example.com.

This is horrible design. You should make a temporary fix prior to the larger design change so this can be resolved sooner. Just have the icons appear above the message. No one cares if it temporarily covers part of the previous message.
I've just got frustrated because of this.

It's been 7 months and this can't be fixed? it's so annoying.

Its definitely a bug. Displaying a hover menu when the mouse is nowhere near it serves no purpose.
You cannot click on one of the menu options unless the mouse is over the option anyway.
Has been driving us batty, especially with shorter text. The triple click works a treat and will do for the short term
adding my frustration on this one... Get it Fixed before someone will do a change dot org and petition...
Huge inconvenient. Hope it gets fixed.
Adding my hat in on this one. This is driving our team nuts.
I was talking our team into switching from slack and I'm a bit of a joke now with this error.
How can it take so long to fix just this simple bug???
Please fix this bug before you release another stupid UI design

This is one of the most annoying UI bugs in Teams (but not the only one for sure). Please please fix this before I lose my mind.

it's a UI bug for sure!
That an annoying sh1t when using Teams. Cannot beleive it was missed by MS test team.

in the chat when you have multiple messages it's almost impossible to select text to use for copy-paste action. This is because the menu with "options, save and like" hovers over the text.
See screenshot for an example

Can we get an update? This seems like such a small thing to fix but its been 10 months since it was acknowledged (and likely longer than that since its been recognized as a problem)

I think I'm going to pass recommendations along to stop using this product. Not being able to easily select text is a huge time suck.

Dang, I googled this to see if there was a workaround and see that they've been aware of this problem for over 6 months and still haven't solved it? Y'all might wanna look at hiring some new people if this is this complicated for you.... How embarrassing for a company to openly admit this isn't ready for ********* and then ignore it for 6 months while people continue to complain.

Still no fix? This is frustrating to the point I refuse to use it anymore. Microsoft cannot fix something as simple as this.....
