Ability for meeting participants to draw on shared screen
Participants in a a meeting with a shared screen should have the ability to draw (with their mouse or touch pen) on the shared screen. E.g. if a PowerPoint is being presented, participants would have their designated color to draw with (to distinguish who is drawing) and a mouse pointer in the same color. The could then point and draw for the other participants in the meeting to see. This would be similar to a whiteboard, only it would be for drawing on top of a shared screen.

Thanks for providing the feedback. This feature is in our backlog. We’ll update when we have more details to share.

It is a major oversight to replace Skype with Teams and step backwards in functions to support effective presentations.
Obviously it means a presenter has to share their desktop in order for a pointer to be visible – whereas loading / sharing the actual PowerPoint file is faster and more flexible for meeting participants.
Seems strange Microsoft would exclude something so basic, when Skype had a pretty good range of functions for this. There must have been user feedback on this when developing the solution?

Pretty much all we're missing to switch to Teams for internal meetings...

Essential for my purposes, and for participants to use too. Need to go elsewhere until this becomes available.

Sooooo disappointed that Teams doesn't have the ability to annotate on uploaded PowerPoint for presenters and participants. Whiteboard is also very disappointing. This is essential for me when delivering virtual training. Bring back Skype for Business!

At one time SysInternals Zoomit worked - tried it without success with Windows 10 now. This would be a VERY FREQUENTLY used feature when sharing a screen or presentation.

There is an old tool in SysInternals called Zoomit - that would be the minimum to add to Teams. It is essential and will be a beloved addition.

Can't believe this hasn't been implemented. This is a complete slow stopper for us migrating over from slack.

Need Need Need, the lack of this feature when Teams is trying to play in the same space as Slack. So useful for pair programming, reviewing documents or generally help people.

Will move from Slack to Teams once this feature is in place.

A request since 2017 and nada yet? Surprised. Need this after experience not having to say, "click that button in the top left... No, not the extreme top left, the one just below... Kinda looks like a post man... no... Three over from that one to the right...."
