Ability for meeting participants to draw on shared screen
Participants in a a meeting with a shared screen should have the ability to draw (with their mouse or touch pen) on the shared screen. E.g. if a PowerPoint is being presented, participants would have their designated color to draw with (to distinguish who is drawing) and a mouse pointer in the same color. The could then point and draw for the other participants in the meeting to see. This would be similar to a whiteboard, only it would be for drawing on top of a shared screen.
Thank you for your continued feedback. We have not forgotten about this ask. This feature remains on our backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
We are looking to move to Teams - but lack of this feature has been generating noise in my user community. Please provide timeline/solution for this feature.

This is indeed important feature. Looking forward.
Highly important feature. I vote for this.
Every possible reason for implementing this feature is already presented in this thread so I won't repeat them. I just vote for this.

It take too long to get this basic features works.
Skype for Business can do that but why not Teams?
This feature is critical for Teams to compete with other products such as ZOOM. We tried migrating over, but until this feature is available zoom will be our go to.
I need this.
This is pretty critical for people like us in migrating from Zoom to Teams.

No go for migrating from Slack to Teams
We will have a lot of resistance to migrating from Slack to Teams without this feature in place. It's probably the most used functionality in our current Slack install.
You guys responded to this over a year ago and this feature still doesn't exist. It has nearly 8,000 votes. Get with the program.

Trying to move my company from Slack to Teams, but our creatives cannot function without this feature. They need the ability to draw on the shared screen to point out what they're referencing, without having to take control of someone else's screen. Especially because many different people are collaborating at once. Disappointing to see Slack have this and not Teams. Please fix this huge gap!

I am moving from Zoom to Teams. I agree this is a huge hole. I am often sharing floor plans on technical drawings and my attendees draw on my screen.
These posts go back over a year.. about time MS fixes this issue!
it is vital to provide this ability, goto and zoom already have it, and that is the big hole in teams.

Any idea when this will be released? As a developer, pairing up on work is so irritating when trying to tell someone "click on the X icon. no not that icon. the one in the upper right. no, that's left. it's in the upper right."
REALLY need a way to just click around on a screen share and walk someone through.

Were in the backlog is this? So much more important than something like "together mode" We are about to switch to zoom because of this
This is a pretty important feature. Why MS is not taking care of it? We have so many complaints about lacking of this feature.
Teams is unusable for design work without this feature
please move this issue off the backlog list, it is a very important feature when conducting virtual training events where engagement of the participant is vital
