Navigating Contacts & Chats
I really like the design and concept of this application and feel it could be very efficient in managing teams, projects, and a multitude of other services. I'm enjoying it so far. On the other hand, I'm having problems navigating contacts. From what I understand this is planned to take over Skype for Business and if that's the case then I feel that the contacts navigation should be similar to that of Skype for Business.
I'm finding it difficult to have to go to Chats and search for the contact, then click on "People" tab in order to find that particular person. I'm wondering if it would be more beneficial to have a particular module specific for contacts or have the Chats module immediately go to Chats and have a tab in there for Contacts.

I second all these comments.
- Why can I search recent chats but not contacts?
- Why don't groups remember collapsed/expanded state?
- Why can't I at the very least drag a contact from a user created group to favorites?C'mon...

Maybe Contacts in chat should have a search box that searches in Contacts like Sfb searches now.

I'd also like to add that having to collapse the groups I'm not using as frequently every time I need to go to a group is inefficient. Skype had the ability to expand or collapse the groups and it remembered so you didn't have to do this each time. I'd also like to see the drag and drop ordering of groups as well.

There is another suggestion about being able to reorder the Contacts list with drag and drop. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/34478041-allow-rearranging-contacts-and-groups

I have used Hipchat/Stride and other team communication tools and they all have a simple method to see all the contacts in an organization. Teams is meant to be for business so there HAS to be a way to see all the members of an organization as a directory. I actually opened a ticket with Microsoft since I assumed this should be there and it is not.
It makes no sense that the only way to start a conversation with a new person is to start a chat and then search for them. This is a basic function of Stride, slack, and any number of other group communication utilities and not having this is a deal breaker for us. As we are also an MSP this means we cannot in good conscience recommend Teams to any of our clients either.
It seems ludicrous that all functionality improvements are pushing towards the SfB integration yet they are neglecting the primary purpose of allowing you to communicate with other members of your organization in the easiest method possible.

I would like to have the same funtion as has tab for Contacts as it is in S4B with possibility to sort my contacts as I like and not to search it every time in Chat tab, when I want to talk to someone.
