Need ability to sort team members by FIRST name, not last.
Please allow us, when viewing members of a team, to sort the list of team members using FIRST NAME as the sort criteria, rather than last name.
Attached a screenshot of the view I'm referring to. I don't know everyone's last names right off the top of my head. It's very confusing trying to make heads or tails of this list when sorted by last name.

Please please bring back this function. I'm sure you used to be able to sort by any of the fields for members... even location. That option has now disappeared. Please bring back!

I notice within my organisation that not having this option delays the adoption of Teams. Don't understand why this only has 12 votes. How many people are actually using the product?

For names, options are need to sort based on the use case: last name; first name; email address. The sorting implementation at my company is by first name, and that is useful less than half the time. Too often people are known by short forms or nicknames and not formal first names. #SortOptionsNOW!

It is very odd how TEAMS sorts the member list. It seams to be by the underlying email adresses, not the aliases. This leads to completely unsorted lists if you look at the alias lists that are displayed. Major bug.

This needs to be a user preference, not a global setting for everyone. The list is currently sorting for me by First Name, though I need it to sort by Last Name.

For me this is the default. The problem is that if you are sorting by first name, it should display first name first. In my case it displays the last name first and sorting by first name is almost useless. Bad UX.
Please default to sorting by whichever name is displayed first.

As we have the display names in Active Directory with surname first, I have the opposite problem. I can sort by first name but not be surnames. Ideally there would be some setting with in the Team GUI or the Office 365 admin panel where we could change the sort from surname to first and vice versa.
