Microsoft Teams feedback
I would like to share with you some pains I am suffering with Teams.
This is just feedback, and not a request for taking any actions:
Browsing historic chats
I often search for something I said or someone said in the chat in the past.
For example, the travel plans from the Madrid Scrum Masters to Madrid was communicated to me via chat and I wanted to find this text as a reminder.
Unfortunately, this is not easy because: (a) it is not possible to do a search and (b) when scrolling up, the chat entries take time to load.
In the chat, I often take an old text and quote it to answer it.
There is no option to quote unfortunately, just to copy the text (no reference to who said it neither when).
Furthermore, there is something ackward about selecting text - it feels slow and clunky.
Conversation in Team channels
The fact that the reply option appears below each message makes us write long messages rather than many short ones -> this impacts our communication pace
Notification of new message
By the default, in the Windows task bar, the text of the application reflects the last chat open. If there is a new message, it keeps showing the last converation open, not the sender of the new message. This is missleading.
Teams Vs. Chat
I find myself going from Chat to Teams continiously. It would be good to have them both combined.
Video call - add new person
When having a video call, if I want to add someone new to the call, I need to hang up and call again. This happens often (as people join meetings late) and disrupts the whole audience; which often is over 10 people.

it would be interesting to make contact subgroups; Currently, with @, one can attract the attention of a person or the team, but not a subgroup of people, if this one is not already creating in the company
