How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Allow copying whole chat conversations

Currently, it's not possible to select & copy more than one message in a chat. When I try to select two or more messages, the focus stays on the first message making it impossible to copy whole chat.

There are some really ugly workarounds like: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/Copying-conversations/td-p/62849 which I don't consider a solution of the situation.

I want to be able to select multiple messages at once and copy them by hitting CTRL+C.

    Including the date and time stamp is important too when copying from a MS Teams chat

    Actually, you can highlight multiple messages if you click and drag. Don't release the left mouse button though. Press Ctrl+C while everything is highlighted, and it'll be copied to the clipboard.

    They do need to fix the highlighting issue though.

    Fundamental weakness of Teams. Can't think of anything more important that needs to be included in the next fix.

    It would appear that an easy solution would have been to copy from the immersive reader, but alas, I see no way to do that

    Please add support of copying multiple message, it’s essential for messaging tool.

    Need to be able to copy discussion re: solutions into incident tickets - directly as block of text, or export to PDF or Word doc. Currently we end up doing screenshots IM convos and it's ugly, and difficult to read.

    We often have discussions during incidents in Teams. We need to be able to capture these conversations so that we can put them into our incident records in ServiceNow. Copying and pasting is really ugly. Being able to export to a PDF would be fantastic.

    The more option on a chat does not allow to copy full conversation. I have attached a screen shot. Also, would have been nice if there is a small chat window that comes with the mail as in gmail (hangout) or a separate chat plugin that is handy.

    Please consider this another vote for this (or something similar) feature. (My 200+ employee company - CMR Surgical - are currently using MS Teams.)

    Please implement this soon. I don't know why it's not easier to copy things! It's right there, but it won't keep what you highlight selected for more than 1 second.

    If you don't put this back my roleplaying group will be moving to a different platform. We need to be able to copy whole chats!
