Option to remove guest account (under Your accounts) from Microsoft Teams
As a guest, I cannot remove a guest account (under Your accounts) from my Microsoft Teams. I can leave all teams, I'm a guest member of, but I'm stuck with the account.
Thank you for your feedback. The team has plans to add a feature to allow users to self-remove themselves from tenants they are a guest in. We don’t have a timeframe to share at this time, but will provide an update as soon as one is available.
Even after I removed the access from the tenant (on Azure),
the guest account still shows up under my Teams profile,
how can I get rid of it? It is truly confusing.
To be remove from a tenant, you will need to make a request to the tenant admin to delete your access on their tenant.
Admin will delete your guest and revoke your access.

The solution is urgently needed for the Iphone App

I solved this in Linux by totally removing the ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft Teams directory.
I'm having the same issue. I'm looking forward to a solution.
I understand that the link below to remove it through Azure should work, but it does not always work. I am one of many IT support techs for my company, and we have all tried this for a few of our users who have had these unsolicited "Guest" accounts appear in their Teams app. A user should be able to remove it themselves.
Is totally ridiculous.
Go learn from Slack. There you can right click on the Slack instance you want to leave and just leave. As a guest...I don't want to deal with someone's AD. If they need to go do some clean up of guest accounts that have left their AD...great. Solve that problem later.
This is ridiculous. I have a second tenant and it's associated a user account from that tenant with my sysadmin account. I can't remove it and now I can't use Teams to talk to her - the desktop app is completely confused.
This seems to be a new type of Spam.....!!!!! Unbelievable, please fix this urgently, Microsoft.
Really need to fix this.
Do you have solutions ? I don't want to contact my old company to remove me!!
Just days of having the MS Teams trial, all of a sudden, I see an unknown guest account I have no idea where this came from and I cannot remove it. Really annoying.
Quite unbelievable that this kind of clear mistake has not been fixed. Embarrasing
Is the option to delete a guest account already available?
I have the same problem!

My company is getting spam invites from Sales companies - definitely need to have an option to remove guest invites (we are not accepting the spam invites)

We have a staff member who now has 3 un-requested and unwanted guest accounts set up by the same person showing in her Teams profile. These teams have been added to her profile over the last 3 month. The person is using accounts thivanly25hotmail.com.onmicrosoft.com and thivanly28hotmail.com.onmicrosoft.com Is it possible to block that person's accounts from our tenant so that they do not attach our staff member to any more teams. And how do we remove the guest accounts from her profile without signing in to the org. In order for the b2b leave the organization to work you have to 'accept' the invite then leave, but the staff member can easily be added back to the org. We need to be able to block or deny.
@stuart Gray, as per the article ,I have left from the organization but till guet profile is falling under my Teams account.
Is any idea? It will take time? Bcoz I'm waiting from last 12 hours to see the changes but still its there.

Hi all, as multiple people have commented, the instructions on how to do this are listed here:

Is there a solution to this? Leaving the "org" via myapps.microsoft.com did not help with removing the tenant from the list in MS Teams (only removes access). Nor does deleting the guest user (permanently) from the host tenant.
@Hans Hoffmann is this is something you are looking
