Bose Bluetooth headphones keeps dropping during meeting
Almost every meeting I attend on Microsoft Teams forces my Bose wireless headphones to disconnect during the meeting on my 2016 Macbook pro. Not only does it disconnect, but it unmutes my speakers on the Macbook so everyone in the office can hear what's happening in the meeting. It only happens on Teams and is really rather unacceptable. I avoid teams as much as possible as a result.

Im having the exact same issue as Jason.
My iphone constantly disconnects and reconnects while on the Teams call. It occurs when I have these bluetooth headphones connected to *both* my HP probook G5 laptop (Win10 v1809) and my iPhone 11 (iOS 13.4) and I have a Teams call - I am listening and talking through the Bose. Several minutes in, all of a sudden, the Bose will announce, "iPhone disconnected", and then immediately "iPhone connected". And will keep doing that - and each time, I can't hear what the other person is saying. Then it randomly will cut out from Teams. I turn the bluetooth off on the iphone, but then my headset will just cuts out from teams again. It seems to happen to me when toggling between Teams and Chrome.

I have the same issue with my Bose NC 700 and Beoplay H8. What has sometimes worked is making sure that the audio output is set to 'Headphones' as opposed to 'Headset'. Not perfect, but helps.

Managed to get the Bose QC IIs working, version 1.3.00.8663.
Unfortunately every time there is a notification, it mutes the meeting conversation. -

I realize that this only happen when I toggle between chrome and MS Team. Is anyone experiencing this also?

I have a Marley Positive Vibration bluetooth headset and the same issue is occurring. I'm in a call for 15mins before the headset turns off - this doesn't occur for anything else I use the headset for. It is as if the headset doesn't realise it's still receiving and transmitting audio, which is annoying because it most often happens when I am in the middle of an important conversation. I haven't yet found a workaround.

Same problem, with brand new earbuds (Taotronics) that I bought specifically for Teams calls. After 15sec to 2min the audio cuts out, the mic still works though, never stayed on for longer than 10 sec to experience whether the bluetooth reconnects again, but always had to go to windows settings, switch bluetooth off and on again, connect to the earbuds again. But as they then disconnect again within 1-2 minutes I gave up. Bluetooth adapter power settings are already changed to 'keep power on always', so that is not the problem. Audio, Youtube no problem; earbuds work fine with my phone, just not with the brandnew Yoga C940. So I have the most expensive operating system with the most expensive laptop and top rated earbuds, but cannot use them together...
Drives me nuts that no-one has found a solution that seems to work. Could anyone from Microsoft comment, please!?!? -

Same issue with a B&O H7: disconnecting mid-call every 15-20 min. It is a Teams only issue as far as I could tell. Unfortunately, this was coupled with Windows 10 decision of removing Bluetooth power management options for end users - which could potentially avoid this issue altogether by never disconnecting -, making the use of Bluetooth headphones unusable in Teams for now.

Same issue. MS Teams meetings with Windows 10, Surface Pro 4, JLAB Studio Wireless on ear headphones. About every 5 minutes, drops the audio receiving for about 30 seconds, so I can't hear anything. They can still hear me for about 15 seconds, then I hear "you're disconnected", then about 10 seconds later "you're connected, battery full". Missing 1 minute out of every 5 of a meeting is not acceptable.

AKG Y50BT and same issue with Teams. No issue with Facebook Messenger.

AKG Y50BT, drops after a while when using Microsoft teams or skype (same issue with zoom as well). No issues with the same computer (win 2010) when using e.g. spotify or youtube, so the issue is in the Teams.
Could be that headset does not recognize Teams as a source for the sound for some reason, and headset turns off automatically to retain the battery since it is not in use? -

My headset was cutting out with a power-down tone near the end of 1-hour meetings... changed the "Standby Timer" setting in my Bose app (android phone) from 1 hour to 3 hours. Here's hoping!

I have similar issues. I don't lose audio on QC35 ii on Windows 10 HP laptop, but my microphone just cuts out mid-conference call on Teams meaning nobody can hear me at times. I have a Jabra wired headset which is fine, but my Bose QC35 ii drop off without fail.
A colleague of mine has similar issues with a Skull Candy bluetooth headphone / microphone unit. Doesn't seem exclusive to brand, seems to be exclusive to bluetooth headphones on Windows 10 Teams application. Hope MS can resolve this as it is very frustrating.

A similar issue occurs with my Bose Quiet Comfort 35ii bluetooth headphones - strangely my iphone constantly disconnects and reconnects while on the Teams call. It occurs when I have these bluetooth headphones connected to *both* my Dell Precision 7530 laptop (Win10 v1809) and my iPhone 8 (iOS 13.3.1) and I have a Teams call - I am listening and talking through the Bose. Several minutes in, all of a sudden, the Bose will announce, "iPhone disconnected", and then immediately "iPhone connected". And will keep doing that - and each time, I can't hear what the other person is saying. I turn the bluetooth off the iphone, and the bose stops doing that. I thought this was a bose issue ... but Teams does some things strange things with AV things ...
Otherwise, I'm using the iphone to listen to music all day, with the occasional pausing that so I can listen to my pc's audio for a video or training. It's only during the Teams call that all the disconnect/connect'ing happens.
