OneNote in MS Teams - Copy link to page not working
steps to reproduce:
- browse to a team in MS Teams using the team's OneNote notebook
- go to the tab "OneNote"
- right-click a page other than the first page of the notebook
- select "Copy link to this page"
- send that link to someone else or open it yourself
Result:
You will always end up on the first page of the notebook. Doing the same via the OneNote client application, it works fine.

This issue is still unsolved.

This is not only a Teams issue. When using the URL in Salesforce or just pasting into a browser it still brings you to the first page of the OneNote Section.

same here. "copy link to page" -> open link -> redirect to first page

I am having this problem since a couple of days, despite (I swear) a few days ago having created links to onenote pages successfully (which were not top of section pages).

Any update? The problem is super annoying. I don't want to tell my users to use Teams but then view OneNote using the app.

Hello, could Admins confirm if there has been any action on this.
It is a pity there have not been more votes to support this as it is a very common problem in our business. -

Please don't let the absence of votes mean this gets ignored. Vitally important, and easy to miss.

This is a bug. We have Teams with linked OneNote sections and pages that were working as of a few weeks ago, but if you attempt to link to a specific section or page now, it only goes to the first page in the entire notebook. Because it was working at one time, this appears to be a bug and not missing functionality.

Same issue. Infuriating.

I found the same. No matter what page you choose "Copy link to page" from, the link takes you to the FIRST page of that section, not the one you chose.

I have the oppositie problem. I want to link a Onenote tab to a section (as previously was the standard behavior. But getting a section link from onenote that I past in the OneNote tab wizard always results in a onenote tab that points to the first section and page (and also displays all sections).

I wholeheartedly agree, this is a needed feature, so people shouldn't spend time looking for the notes.
