Block change picture
In Skype for Business we were able to prevent users from uploading pictures for their avatar. This was done from a PowerShell script that modified the OWA policy. We should have the same option with Teams. Hopefully in UI instead of PS.

We have begun rolling out the fix for Teams to honor the OWA Mailbox Policy setting configured by tenant admins to control whether users can change their profile picture.
Please se https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/exchange-teams-interact for details. If you don’t have it quite yet, sit tight as it can take time to roll out fully.
Thanks!

This needs to be moved to the top of the list. It is unacceptable in an education env. that we can not stop students from changing pictures. This MUST be added ASAP.
This can also be a violation of Child Safety laws regarding minors being exposed to inappropriate material.

Hello guys, I can't access my microsoft teams free version, I downloaded it yesterday for the first time and it worked very well, after a while, I had to log out. when I tried to reconnect for a second time, it hasn't worked since then until now! I asked for help and an online assistant, the Onkar technician in your mailbox sent me to your home to find a solution!

Just had to do another manual photo audit to remove sunglasses, inappropriate posing and exposure, etc. In an enterprise platform this is unimaginable.

I'm getting very tired of this recent Microsoft shift towards "give end users the ability to circumvent Corporate IT controls that have long been in place and respected". It's happening more and more and beginning to damage my opinion that MS is a trusted partner.

When will MS understand the importance of managing photos in Enterprise ? Always overlooked 🤦♂️.

Please implement this ASAP. It's ridiculous this isn't an option on an enterprise application.

One more - need to be able to limit the photo change to one location & have it replicate across all O365 apps for consistency.

2020 and still nothing? You said 2018 most likely, but 2019 passed already.

Everybody already mentioned the issue, we need to be able to prevent employees from changing their profile pictures to their favorite pet or motorbike, it is against Company policy and instead of baby'ing them we should have the ability to lock it down.
Thank you.

I would also like to see this resolved asap, As a thought, I know you can change profile pictures using powershell, so I wonder if anyone has written an scripts to blank out the profile pictures for all users as that could be a rough work around to clear the profiles every so often.
