Stop the blinking in the taskbar when a message is received
A single notification screen on the desktop is great, and the option to email me of a missed teams chat* is helpful. Please disable the blinking of the icon in the toolbar on the windows desktop each time a message is received. If I do not want to view the message, the icon in the task bar blinks orange until I select it, and then click on Teams. If I do not want to view a message in the middle of a task, I should not have to sit through blinking alerts. Maybe have the icon/minimized window blink twice.
*Come up with branding for when a message is sent. Like "I slacked you the info." Internally, we have been saying "Sleamed" which I doubt you want.
I want the blinking, please make it an option in the settings to turn on/off. That makes everyone happy

yes please. So annoying. I have the banner option. I can read it there, and decide not to respond. I shouldn't have a blinking indicator for a message I don't care about. Leave a number there displaying how many messages, but get rid of the blinking.
I agree emphatically with the other two posts.
I hate the blinking task bar, it really bothers me and makes it harder to concentrate on the work that needs to be done.

Yes, PLEASE get rid of that blinking task bar! It's bad enough locally, but becomes supremely annoying on terminal server sessions where it can really slow down screen updates. Always seems to happen when I'm really busy and don't have time to deal with the message, but the blinking slows down my screens and slows down my work!
