Notifications when files are updated in a Team
Team or General channel notifications should be sent when files are updated in a Team. Unless I check every so often, I don't know when files are updated, as the person updating the files doesn't post a comment to the General channel (which I'm following) and updating a file doesn't auto-post a comment to the General channel to trigger watches on the channel.
The same is true for new files, but there is also an idea already open for new files: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18719107-notifications-should-be-sent-when-files-are-added
I miss many updates on file we work on collaboratively, as this feature of being notified is missing.

I realize this is an old idea from 2017, but it really needs to be implemented. My team is uploading new files and adding comments or making changes to that, but nobody knows unless they go check. A notification of a new file or that an existing file has been edited would be amazing.
Just realized this is from 2017. It is 2019, is this being considered?
