Don't minimize on screen share
When a user have multiple screens, have an option to not minimize the teams meeting when they share a different screen, then they don't have to click on anything to continue to see the meeting while sharing.

This is one of the thousand cuts that makes a workforce hate Microsoft tools. Yes, you're sticky in enterprises, but each cut makes our lives frustrating.
We've had COVID for 18 months and we regularly see updates. Aren't you running workshops?
One screen for seeing peoples' video and seeing their reactions, backchannel comms, etc and then one screen for sharing and collaborative work. Every time we share there's a 10-15 second faff whilst we have to re-arrange.
Please fix it.
Yes! Whatever I screen share is on my 2nd monitor. I need to keep the meeting up on my primary monitor to see chat, raised hands, etc.
When it minimizes, I need to reopen the Meeting window, and I almost invariably pick the wrong one from the taskbar.
As many others said, it needs to be an individual setting.
This needs to be a setting or something. It's extremely frustrating as someone who shares screens a lot on dual monitors.
Clearly an issue since 2017. I do a lot of presentations and it is frustrating to have to disrupt your rhythm every time you want to start sharing, between this and the Bar above that frequently pops down and blocks important tabs I need to toggle between, I really want to move to zoom for presentations. Fix this.
This function would really only be useful when using a single screen like a laptop. When using multiple monitors it's just confusing when the meeting window disappears.

Agree, this drive me nuts having to un-minimize it after I share.
I use multiple monitors, remote desktop on 2 monitors and teams fullscreen on the laptop screen. I wish the Teams window don't minimize when I share screen.

This is a broken feature. Whenever I share a screen, I can't stop sharing anymore because the button to do so is on the screen that has vanished
This seems to be a problem since 2017! PLEASE FIX THIS!
This is horrible! Every time I share my screen for a presentation, the chat window disappears and before I can start presenting I first have to figure out how to get the chat window back and where it is placed afterwards.
I have 20 people working in my office and NONE of them has only 1 screen, where this "feature" that might be handy! Everyone uses at least 2, most 3 screens! Please fix this!

Yep, agree with everyone, just do it please. People do use multiple screens with Teams :-P
Especially one year in the pandemic
Please just turn this off altogether; let the user minimize their teams meeting if they need to! I stumble with this multiple times a day. What makes it worse is that the subsequent 'picture-in-picture' version of teams usually 'moves' to the display I've chosen to share, which is actually WORSE. On top of that, the picture-in-picture DOESN'T DISPLAY, I have to do the dance with the windows taskbar to get it to even display so I can re-maximize it. Absolutely the most frustrating aspect of teams right now. How is changing the buttons for the chat dialog more important than this?
Super annoying. Please give me the option to disable this.
How hard can it be to add a configuration setting for this :(

omg yes please. It's super irritating. When I screen share, I need to continue to be able to see my audience so I can gauge their reactions to what I'm sharing verbally and on-screen.
