Move meetings from one Channel to another
It would be great if meetings could be moved from one Channel to another. In the course of time it may become clear that a meeting fits better under another (new) Channel.

Any update on this? Would be great to be able to move recorded meetings to different channels to keep them better organised.

When is this gonna be fixed?

This is bizarrely draconian functionality: you must be meticulously careful and certain exactly where you want your meeting housed and connected before you start drafting the meeting, because once you set your meeting times, you will never be able to move it. What ever happened to "pencil it in"? Setting a placeholder meeting before you have the details worked out is so deeply engrained in our cultural habits that we have a linguistic expression for it. I set up a meeting to hold the calendar times open, THEN I figure out who should be invited and where I want to put the notes. Having to plan all the details in reverse is supremely annoying.

Can you please add the ability to move one meeting from one Channel to another?
PLEASE!

Moving or adding a channel after a meeting so it can be found back in the relevant place.

Nice to see they've still not fixed this issue 18 months later....

Same issue here. I had the thought of Tagging the meeting with the Channel, but Teams isn't allowing me to do that in the comments of a Chat attached to a meeting.

Yup! Ideally moving an existing meeting from Outlook in to a channel would be great.

Same boat. Can i move a meeting to a Channel. The recurring meeting will have Weekly meeting Notes. How can i get this into my channels for a Project or Initative

100% I've got my weekly meetings moved to Teams, but since it was created originally in Outlook there's no way for me to associate it with the correct channel. It's annoying to have to redo the whole thing via the Teams calendar for even just one meeting, let alone ALL of them.

Not just moving but adding channels after the fact. There are a tonne of weekly meetings out there that exist outside of Teams. As companies transition to Teams, there needs to be the ability to move all these existing meetings (as opposed to deleting and recreating them).

A member created a meeting unrelated to the relevant channel. Now its filled with vital info, and in the wrong place. And some people keep using it, diverting the info from the correct channel.

Agreed. I had to schedule a meeting with people that are not members of a team that we do not want to be members of the team. I scheduled this using Outlook. I would then like to move the meeting details and notes in to the respective Team channel that was created for the project.

In an effort to do this very thing, I deleted the channel a recurring meeting was associated with. Now I can no longer edit or delete the meeting. Help!

I agree. Today I held a meeting that related to one of my channels, but because I didn't want to invite everyone in the channel, I set the meeting up from within Outlook. I have a meeting recording and notes that I would now like to add to that channel.
