Video screen size when sharing screen
When video chatting and sharing your screen, the video window is very small and you can't resize it.
When you are in an active meeting and have video and screen sharing enable:
1. Able to resize video preview
2. Able to use multiple monitors with video on one and screen share on the other.
3. Able to move the video around the screen freely.
4. Overlay video on full screen screenshare.
5. Able to freely resize your split screen with video and screenshare.
Thank you for your continued feedback, we have not forgotten about this ask. We have a feature on the backlog for popping out content, so you will be able to see one screen with the video gallery and one screen with the shared content. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
For the separate feature ask for full screen option, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/41277121
For split screen camera and desktop, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/37118773
Any update on this one? At one of my clients this is an important part for the use and adoption of Teams.

I want to be able to Have the Video from a meeting on one monitor and continue to access different teams and chat with other people without minimizing the Video.

while sharing desktop screen Microsoft teams doesn’t allow the shared screen in a different window ( not in the video screen).

I support this idea because with my hearing loss, I am not able to separate screen share and video onto 2 separate screens to see what is all going on. I rely heavily on lipreading but if I cannot see the person because I am trying to see what is being shared. Same deal if I see the person, but I cannot see the shared screen. With Skype, we can do this but with Teams, we cannot. It would greatly be appreciated if we could get this pushed through. Without this, it poses challenges not only for me but for others as well.
Has it moved from the backlog to the roadmap? What's the ETA?
All of our employees have multiple monitors. how are we going to encourage remote participation in meetings using video conferencing and "extend the conference room" to their remote/home location if they have to watch a mix of content and video feeds all on one monitor/window.

Will this enable calls to be popped out into their own window?
Fundamental requirement for effective remote work.

Presenter should not be trapped in the screen being presented. Many of my users have multiple screens and many applications open windows in other screen. I have to ask the remote presenter to stop presenting, drag the popup over into screen 1 and start presenting again.
Very clunky and requires too much presenter tasks.
Fully support this. For conference rooms with multiple large displays it would be great to split the video call away from the screen share so that we can always see who we are talking to but at the same time see the shared content.

I would also like this a lot!
It would also be nice if I could have other parts of the interface available at all times (chat, participants and so on).
That way I can see and interact with them without it impairing my view of whatever is presented.
Basically, I have a lot of screen surface and would like to use it more efficiently.

Please let us know when this feature will be available, as we were using till now Skype For Business and as you know Microsoft is forcing us to leave Skype for business and start using Teams, but without this feature, it's not possible for us to use Teams for our daily video calls...
Please understand the importance of this feature, when you are forcing to leave an existing working application to a new application, make sure that all of the existing features should be available in the new product.
Waiting for your reply...

Agreed... I think you can delete this one and vote for this (currently on the backlog) instead: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31661131-video-screen-size-when-sharing-screen

This is a must have that we are truly missing from Skype for Business!
If the presenter cannot make their camera the main view in a meeting it completely loses its functionality. We have stopped using cameras altogether because we could not give a single person constant focus. We are typically in a conference room with a large group while our remote people are calling in. We only want to see the conference room view not everyone as they speak.

Would be great to get these improvements to video conference / screen share / dual monitor usability ASAP
Would like MS Teams meetings to allow for split screen so you can pull the meeting screens apart so on one screen you have the video feed of everyone in the meeting and on the other screen you have the content being presented. I'm sure this is already out there but I could not find it.

We have major issue without dual screensharing. Please increase the priority
