Video screen size when sharing screen
When video chatting and sharing your screen, the video window is very small and you can't resize it.
When you are in an active meeting and have video and screen sharing enable:
1. Able to resize video preview
2. Able to use multiple monitors with video on one and screen share on the other.
3. Able to move the video around the screen freely.
4. Overlay video on full screen screenshare.
5. Able to freely resize your split screen with video and screenshare.
Thank you for your continued feedback, we have not forgotten about this ask. We have a feature on the backlog for popping out content, so you will be able to see one screen with the video gallery and one screen with the shared content. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
For the separate feature ask for full screen option, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/41277121
For split screen camera and desktop, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/37118773
Definitely a massive value. I often share comments about the Video / participants split screen option being a real benefit if Microsoft can enable that. often in meetings someone would share the screen and the participants videos are moved to tiny video screens.
The chat Pop-out feature was a massive bonus, and i hope the split screen video would be the next!
Meanwhile my clients are either embracing Google Meet systems or using Zoom. Standards based codecs have had this feature for decades, as do most of Teams competitors. So sad to see this ecosystem founder.

We're big Teams users but will unfortunately be switching to Zoom for our training classes (where you want to see screen share and presenter) until this and other related features implemented.
Zoom has a very good function for this where the user can decide size of camera-views vs. size of shared content.
Really poor that this is not yet a function in Teams.
Please upvote and implement!
Really needed feature, especially now when we are so often on videoconference from home !
This is a must-have feature, for sure!

I hope you’re having a nice day!
I very much hope that that backlog item will include setting cropped share zone for content?
One of the big reasons Is for Ultra Wide and super Ultra Wide monitors.
When people share content the receiving viewers of the content cannot see it because it’s too small.
can you please let me know if this item is in scope or there’s a different backlog item for this? If not please let me know and I will create a user voice.
thank you kindly
Really needed to have an ASL interpreter on screen at the same time as the presentation
You're asking us to upvote other UserVoice suggestions? But I thought MS was dropping UserVoice:
Being able to see peoples faces at all times in a meeting, of limited size of course, is very important in my opinion. I would like to popout the camera view and the share view separately as one of the biggest use cases isn't merely following along with whatever is shared on the screen but pausing and having a lot of discussing, brainstorming, etc. around it. It cannot be understated how much humans communicate with their facial expressions, not being able to see each other in anything more than small thumbnails really hampers that.

Microsoft developers seems never seen a partner code console presentation
full screen is terrible for other than pretty pie charts
Please, do something
Used to have the option to switch between videos and shared content. Now when content is shared, cameras are squashed on the left. Would be great to be able to resize so that videos are bigger.
This is a huge disadvantage for Teams. In Webex, I can easily have the presentation on my big monitor (where I can read it), and the gallery of webcams on my smaller laptop monitor where my camera is. That way when I talk to people, I can look directly at them. With teams, I'm always in profile because I'm looking at the presentation, otherwise I look at the laptop where nothing is. Also with Webex, I can spotlight an individual (make them bigger), and my webcam is the same size as everyone else, instead of being a tiny square at the bottom. Both also Team annoyances!

Minimally, would be good to able to resize the video row at the bottom to make it taller and allow the thumbnails to be larger relative to the content.

This would be very helpful for video participants that include entire rooms. the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen don't allow you to see who is talking.

This functionality is sorely needed, Zoom and Skype have this functionality and Teams is lagging behind by not having it.

We have a hearing impaired college here which would really benefit of this functionnality. He has to see the screen I share and at the same time read on my lips to see what I'm saying.
Would be very useful to have presentation fullscreen on external monitor, while retaining video conference on laptop screen, where webcam is.

Well, not having this means that we use other tools whenever possible...

Hi, would this allow us to full-screen popped out screen sharing windows? We are looking for a long-term communication tool like teams which would allow us to view shared screens at 1:1 pixel ratio assuming we can match the resolution of the stream source.
