sorry, we ran into a problem
Where do these "Sorry" error message go after they pop up and disappear?
There does not appear to be any way to "open" the message. Clicking on it does nothing.
Is there somewhere we can go to find out what the issue was?
Same issue,.. no way to even read the message...

Exact same issue here. How do we read these errors??

Getting "We're Sorry - we have run into an issue" all the time! Very annoying!!!
After reboot notebook it works fine, but after some time (several hours, mostly the same day) the connection gets lost, reconnect/login is not possible anymore. Already uninstalled, rebooted windows, Installed Teams again. It is unuseable for me, sticking with Skype but would love to move to Teams.
Another vague issue on my notebook is these errors that there is a problem (what?!!) with "a"(which?!!) account. Why get I these vague errors? I did login a few time on my accounts but it doesn't help, leaving as it is. My daily work needs to get done..
exactly same problem...
this is ridicolous
Having the same issue - @microsoft - any updates?

For me, this issue was coming because of having apostrophe in folder/file name. Removing apostrophe resolved the issue.
I am also facing this issue "We ran in to a problem its reconnecting how to solve this isssue please guide me" while downloading files from a Team's specific location. This is not issue with a certain file or certain Teams.
I am facing issue with teams like 'We ran in to a problem its reconnecting how to solve this isssue please guide me'''

Same problem - trying to delete a file I just created in Teams - and I can't. And I don't know why because the error message is truncated.

Seeing this issue too when trying to download an Excel file that had been uploaded into a teams channel. I was able to open it in Excel (both online and the app) instead of downloading. The workaround I used was open the file in excel and then saving a copy locally instead of downloading. I'm wondering if why we don't see a teams error/ or response here on UserVoice is because its actually a OneDrive/Sharepoint issue that is being used to access the files save in the cloud. Either way its really annoying and something that needs to be looked at by MS.

I ran into the same trouble when I try to move a file into another folder. The error message popped up at the right bottom corner but when I try to click it to understand the error more, it disappeared. I tried to delete the file and upload again, but it doesn't allow me to delete! I'm so frustrated!! Can MS do something on this?
I am also having this issue, has anyone found a solution?
OK - so I resolved the issue for moving......initially. Permissions for the user were not set on the SharePoint Site I was sending the document to. I did this and it worked. Now I try and delete files I get the message and the odd move still fails! There is something screwy going on here.
Worked fine once when I tried to move a file from One SharePoint Folder in a Team to another SharePoint Folder in the same team. Driving me nuts. The second SharePoint Folder (a document library with a flow triggered on new entries). I tested with document library with no flow triggered on new item and same problem. Driving me nuts as I am trying to come up with a way that clients can use Teams as a Wrapper to SharePoint. Obviously, they are not there yet so it makes it quite difficult being reliable.

I get this message every time I try to download a file in the "Microsoft Team" software on my PC. But if I follow the link to the file and open it in a web borwser, then I'm able to download it with no problem.

Having the same problem here and Microsoft, true to their attitude of not caring about their customers, hasn't even acknowledged this thread. I've seen this sort of "we don't care about you so we won't even respond" attitude literally dozens of times with many different problems.

I have the same problem. Added a document and then realised it had an error. It now won't let me remove the document and says "Sorry, ran into a problem". Very annoying.

have a warning/error message that can't be read is not very useful.
I have the same question. This has happened many times before and I didn't have time to track it down. I am a to delete a file, and I get a notification in the lower right corner of my screen: "Sorry, we ran into a problem. The file [filenametruncated]..."
I want to find more information about why it won't delete.
Hovering over the message doesn't give any more information.
Clicking or right-clicking the message makes it disappear.
How am I supposed to understand what the issue is?
On a related note, is Teams considered a real enterprise product or am I missing something?
Why hasn't this been responded to by MS? still an annoying problem in April 2018
