Securty Issue - Add a TouchID (fingerprint) / PIN Code lock for the app
Currently the application will not ask for credentials after the initial sign-in (even if the user signs out via options, clears cache or even reinstalls the app).
The only thing needed in order to gain access to the app is the email address of the user (which is relatively easy to find elsewhere on the device when not locked).
Pretty much all other applications will allow the user to add a touchID or PIN authentication to further secure the app (Outlook, OneDrive, SFB, etc.)
While the app leverages the authentication token used by all other apps on the device, this one is still missing the option to prevent unwanted access.

Seems strange that you can use Touch ID for Outlook but not Teams. This definitely should be standardised.

Still able to set a pincode through Ms Intune.
Touch ID would be a more appropriated solution.Hope this option will soon be implemented!

I must be able to enable Touch ID on Teams on my iPhone. If my phone is unlocked (because I'm using Maps or something similar in a city), I cannot risk someone grabbing the phone out of my hand and running off with it - they will have access to commercially sensitive files!

I also strongly agree, This is a must have for company security and it is shocking that this has been a topic since 2017 with no reply.

My Team is considering that discontinuing use of MS Teams is needed because of the lack of this basic security feature on mobile devices.

Mobile app will not ask for password after signout ,even after clearing app data and cache it will sign in automatically just by entering email Id

If Microsoft aims to provide Teams as a solution to businesses, they need to look at application security more closely. I think adding fingerprint/Touch ID and/or pin code unlock is a good idea.
- Think MDM management (Office 365 / Azure), including remote app wiping.
- Think securing access to documents.Security is a growing concern amongst many business. The better the security features, the more likely businesses will adopt an IT solution such as teams.
