Notifications for teams
I'm not receiving any notifications from teams.
Each time I select anything in notification settings the selected setting disappears...

Please add to the comments if you are experiencing this. I would like to know the OS and device you are using as well.
I’ll bring this feedback to the feature team and help get this investigated.

Please find my feedback below on a feature that doesn't work. This is my personal opinion and sorry if I'm maybe too straight but honest complaints are the ones that really help. No notification on Teams at all. As I never received notifications in any form as per the advice of a colleague set the banner and email notifications as well and the result = once I manually checked and found that I received a chat, responded to it and exchanged several messages with the sender. After a long time I've got an email... That was this Mon and today is Thu. No more emails received despite the several chats (both team&one to one) I had. Initially I didn't want to receive any email about chats because instead of chatting I could send emails as well but thought that it's still better to receive 30 junk emails on a daily basis than having no information about chats at all but that didn't work either. This is absolutely unacceptable. I use it on Android 9 and win10 pro 64bit. Please handle this with priority, I can see similar topics on this forum from 2017 and 2018 and the company I work for (but officially not allowed to represent it in this topic) as far as I know pays for this service so is not a freeware one where you have no expectations for any action. Here can you please kindly act and not in a years term but in the coming few days/weeks. This must be either a settings issue at your or our side or a serious issue in the program that cause trouble most probably ten-thousands of users but they are tired to complain. I know that you must be working ******* all topics but this one probably hasn't got enough attention however this was the first step in a communication flow - that we are let known that someone wants to communicate with us. Thank you.

On win 10 and would like to have the ability to get a popup notification but not see the text. Also would like the icon in the start bar to blink or more clearly indicate you have received a chat.

I wish the notifications are able to have a privacy setting when the banner pops up, and able to swipe away the notification.

We see banner notifications on Windows 10 on Dell machines, however the notifications do not show up in the notifications center to stay there (like Outlook notifications do). This is important to my customers!

I've experienced an issue in Mac OS and iOS native apps where notifications do not happen even when the settings are selected.

Notifications were working and then all of the sudden no one in our department is receiving notifications. I've checked all of the settings on the desktop and the mobile app (both Android and iPhone) and we are still having this issue. Please fix this as Teams is useless if we don't receive notifications!

Hello, ever since I installed iOS 13 beta 2, my teams notifications come in sporadically or not at all. They only seem to work if the app is open on my phone and I have the screen unlocked.
I have my mobile notifications set to always notify me, even if I am active on the desktop, and I changed my notification sound from the default.

Also, within the iOS app although I have 'Vibration' enabled, Teams NEVER vibrates on a notification. Basic on/off settings in the app are simply ignored!

I FINALLY figured out what was going wrong on my iOS Teams app last night:
Within the Teams notifications settings there is a section for 'Quiet Hours'.
Although I had the switch disabled for 'Daily quiet hours', and in the Notifications menu it said 'Quiet hours Off', there is ALSO a section WITHIN 'quiet hours' for 'quiet days' that appears to be *independent* of the quiet hours setting. So, with my quiet days set to Sun-Sat even though I had quiet hours turned OFF, the quiet days setting was overriding that, and I received ZERO notifications.Guys, is it too much to ask that when you set a top-level feature to 'Off' that everything nested within that feature should ALSO be off? This could have been prevented by either making quiet days obey the quiet hours off setting or else pulling it out of the quiet hours menu so that it was obvious it was an independent setting. Bad UI design like this is the bane of Microsoft products these days.

The problem with Team vs Skype Business is that I have no idea when my team is trying to get a hold of me. There are no notifications. In Skype, I would get a blicking icon with a ring sound and I could answer any questions immediately. Teams is horrible!

Running Windows Pro 10 version 1803. One user is receiving notifications and 8 others are not. The user receiving notifications is the administrator/owner of the MS Office Users account. Please help as Teams is not as useful without sound and banner notifications. All settings have been checked and are operational and set as active

We rarely get notifications. It needs to give us something if the program is behind other windows or minimised in Windows 10. At the moment I get one once in a blue moon. Proper notifications are essential to Teams
