Please allow the option to have strike-through text in the desktop client for Teams on the Mac.
This would seem to be a very basic need for a software designed specifically for collaboration. We have a "to do" list in our shared notes, and we have multiple team members working from that list. Finish item, strike through, y'all.
Are you saying we still don't have this on Teams in 2021?!!! Was just looking for it. Tried pasting a striken text and it underlines it. Dammit, it's such a basic feature. What the **** Microsoft?

Need for Windows version as well!!!
(tried to copy an occurrence of "MAC" with strikethrough text from Windows Outlook head of "Windows" in prior sentence to show how nice it looks/works, but the strikeout portion of "MAC" got dropped when I pasted into Teams. Confirms Teams doesn't support strikeout in any way, shape or form. How come? )

I prefer to use strike-throughs for corrections/errata rather than adding an entirely new reply so less reading is required and it's more clear what is actually being corrected in an edit.
Absolutely, that way we could indicate items on our agenda which have been discussed or completed.

Also in MS Teams Desktop for Windows, it is not available
I would like to use strikethrough in teams conversations. It does not seem to be available
