Allow Power BI Apps in tabs
Paul LeBlond commented
@Sherwin unfortunately in our environment this prompts users to log into the powerbi website.
The Power BI "app" that can be installed is basically Sherwin's recommendation and doesn't provide any additional functionality. The ability to embed a report directly is nice, but when you have more than 2-3 reports in a team, you can't just keep adding more tabs. Being able to put a collection of a team's reports in a single tab would be ideal. As of right now, our organization is struggling with convenient sharing of team reports. "Just go to powerbi.com" works, but is not very user friendly when we're already in Teams, working with a specific team. The reports I need should be right there.
I found a workaround for this. Copy the link of the app and put it into teams as a website tab. Works well enough.

Please allow this ASAP!

Power BI Apps are the recommended way of rolling out Power BI. Teams is the recommended way to collaborate. But the two tools don't work together. I don't understand why MS does not make fixing this a priority.
When adding a Power BI Tab to Teams channel we can select Apps, but we are only allowed to link to individual reports inside the app, not the app itself. We need to link to the app itself. Otherwise what is the point of wrapping the content in the app in the first place?

Ditto what @Tom Marek said.
A "Power BI" tab in Teams should have the option to pick a report (or dashboard!) from an app. Being able to show the "workspace copy" of a report is nice, but users can only see it if they are members of the workspace.
We're distributing Power BI content to broader audiences in or organization with Power BI apps; if there is a Teams/Power BI integration, then I would expect those broader audiences to be able to access the same Power BI content in Teams.

Power BI Apps are the recommended way to rolling out Power BI dashboards and reports to larger audiences and to not be able to use them inside of Teams is a huge blocker to using the proper method to roll out your analytics tools. Please rethink how you embed standard objects within Teams for Power BI.
It will be really helpful
