Virtual group for tagging multiple members inside a group
Make a virtual user grouping that can be managed by conversation group admin.
For example, all the release teams in the company are on a single Teams conversation group. If a person wants to address all the scrum masters in their message, there is no way to do it currently except to @tag each one of them.
My suggestion is to have a virtual grouping like @ScrumMasters. The group name and the members of that group should be manageable by the admin for the whole group.

I would also like to be able to create a tag for groups of individuals that are a subset of the entire team as an end user even if I am not an admin. For example the team is all of Professional Services, I regularly need to address two subsets of the entire team (the Analysts and the Techs). I would like to be able to make a group tag that encompasses all of them so I don't have to do each individual person or the entire channel.

That is a grate idea I am looking for a same function.
I have the use case on one team with 25 member that I just wanted to mention the 8 developer and I always have to mention them all individually.
That group function would help a lot.
It should be possible to assign one member to multiple groups 🖒😉
