Alphabetical sort option for Teams
Please consider including an option for viewing the teams in alphabetical order. Ideally, there should be a "Default" view which sorts all the teams in ascending order (A-Z) and an option to sort the teams based on most recent activity. Of course, this feature should also be pushed to the mobile app as well.
Dito, everything is said!
It is ridiculous that I can't sort my 50+ channels alphabetically

Brian, if you read the text of the owner of this UserVoice properly you will see that he wants to have both options (alphabetical as well as most recently used). Which makes total sense.

Why limit it to alphabetical? I'd also love to see other sort options like "most recent activity" for both teams and channels.
Same for the contact list. Alphabetical and Status sorting.

As a school this is really important as you always have lists sorted by last name.
User should be able to specify "advanced sorting options"
Please implement the sort function - it is absolut essential for a reasonable usage of this application.
When starting the app I want to see the latest news first - without having to scroll to the end

Maybe im just missing something - it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to sort in the different lists and menues. Ideally it would be similar to setting the order in the explorer/libraries, clicking on a header will sort the content according to the selected column.
When used for a class with 147 students there NEEDS to be a way to sort the members of a TEAM alphabetically!! Searching for students EVERY time you have to find them is a HUGE WASTE of time and a deal breaker! Please fix this and contact me. ~ Thank you!
Wow! Not having a basic sort function on an iPad is unbelievable. Almost makes me want to dump Microsoft and Apple and look at all Google docs! Looks like this has been an issue for over 3 years. I don't think Microsoft has the Fortune 100 ability to fix this issue. Maybe Elon Musk should buy them and show them great products that customers want. Looks like there are over 300 comments and 1900 votes for this,
Additional please: List Teams in customizable order. And yes - should be common sense!
Dringend benötigt. Eigentlich unglaublich, dass es das nicht gibt.

I cannot believe this has not been implemented already.

I'd quite like the option to use a combination of these suggestions:
1. Ability to define a 'Custom Teams Order' (currently working)
2. Teams with unread activity (bold) jump to the top of the list.
3. When all recent activity for that team is seen/read, the team moves back to it's normal position.
Helpful when you are a member of many teams and constantly go scrolling down the list looking for any Bold teams to check for unseen activity.

It is on the Microsoft Teams Android App... My Teams are in alphabetical order on the Android App, but not the MS desktop programme

I cannot believe this has not been implemented already. Yet another ignored feature request that seems to be completely reasonable, to the point that it is surprising it was not implemented from day zero.
Microsoft, stop messing with stuff that already works, maybe try paying some attention to what your customers are telling you.
YES. I'M DROWNING IN TEAMS. I need them to stay alphabetized automatically.
99% of all developed software apps, even from small companies, have the ability to sort columns by pressing the column title. For the manage team list, chat list, everything should be sortable. Throw one of your thousands of useless extra apps in the garbage and buy some time to produce what your users are actually in need of now, please.
WHY?! Why do you continue to inundate your users with more developed crap while you make them sit and suffer through godawful interfaces that should've been designed right before your users had to tell you about a proper design that the entire rest of the world has been using for decades?! HOW does something this common sense sit around for over 3 years without any action? Its downright disgusting how negligent you are to your paying customers' needs--whoever allocates development resources at Microsoft should be absolutely ashamed, so despicable.
