Pasting an image into the chat results in a blank image. Clicking to expand the image shows a broken link.
The image usually shows up in the senders chat, but recipients can't see it. There seems to be no notification that the image is broken on the other end - and no mechanism to retry sending the image.

This occurs frequently for me. Once a broken link happens every image is 'broken'. It requires a restart of Teams to enable the images to be shown correctly again.
Facing this issue after the latest update
Having a similar issue with a channel. These images were uploaded from a mobile device. Neither the sender or recipients can view these, however at one point they could.

I found that if you don't give it enough time and paste a new picture (e.g. from snipping tool) it fails, if you give it a few seconds it helps. I think teams is uploading int he background but requires the image to not be replaced in the "source" app.

Experiencing the a similar issue. In our case, it varies between the recipient not being able to see pasted or attached images and the sender.
Additionally, when an image is pasted and the sender cannot see the image. If a new chat/team is selected and you navigate back to the chat/team with the broken image it appears.
