Update User Status
User Status is extremely slow to update. It is 7:30 am and the last programmer to leave last night around 5:00 pm is still shown as active even though he is not met.
The user status is very helpful because it tells you if you can expect immediate response. I find myself double checking with Skype for Business when I need to know if someone is available or not.

I completely agree. This is one of the most important features and should to be improved

Very slow to sync, people who have left the previous day still shows as available when I log-in in the morning.

This must feature just needs to work, period. Otherwise how can MS expect us to move from SfB?
I am having the same problem

My team members have logged in already but they are shown in my list as Offline. It happens even when they change their status manually.
Also, when we are on a call, the status changes to In call or Presenting but it is resetting back to normal when call finishes.
I have been logged in for hours and hardly any of my contacts show as green check available even though I am actively talking to any of them. Quitting out of Teams and logging in fixes the issue.
Our list of group members is slow to sync and is showing users offline/unknown when they are active.
"Unknown status" seems useless to me and should be removed since either the user is online meaning teams is in contact with the user (and should then know it's status) or the user is offline and should be marked as such, not unknown.
Things may have improved a bit with status accuracy but I've noted that lately it takes a long time to load statues (initially just showing white). It can take 10-30 sec to show everyone's status in the contacts list which is obviously way to long.
Agreed. Also, users often show as "Status Unknown" when they are in fact active/away in Skype. It is not until you actually send a chat that it updates a little faster.
