Support for Remote Desktop Services (RDS) & Citrix XenApp
RDS/Citrix XenApp support is *not* listed in the Teams Deployment Advisor or the Administrator Settings page (links below). This request is to add support for these scenarios since RDS/XenApp is very common in healthcare as well as other verticals as well as for remote access.

There are a bunch of issues that arise due to this practice of the application being installed into AppData/local. Roaming Profiles are a non-starter. UEV doesnt help here either. For me the important ones are security as %appdata% is a haven for ransomware and other malware attacks. A big deal IMO, since even a standard user that is supposed to be locked down from installing software can still run executables from this location causing an infection to the users content and any place they have access to, even network paths. So like others I've implemented SRP and/or AppLocker. But the way they are handling software like OneDrive and Teams conflicts with this.

We also need a version of Teams that can be installed in XenDesktop with Group Policy support
[posting the same comment here as I did here :https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18882088-non-persistent-vdi just in case any cleanup is done and one of these ideas is disappeared]
Having support for VDI in a non-persistent (Citrix XenApp for example) server based deployment of the Teams app (as it was for Skype For Business) with media redirection capability to the local endpoint instead of burdening the data center with the media streams is critical for our company wide deployment and would definitely be a blocker to a migration from SFB on-prem to the cloud. Not seeing this support listed in the Teams Roadmap (yet) makes it very difficult to plan our future migration strategy.
