the ability to sort teams alphabetically would be nice. and possibly other filters.

Not just sorting of the entire list... the ability to create groups and drag teams into those groups will be so useful as well

I would be happy with a sort newest to the top or oldest to the top. Filter by subject search would also be good
I don't think I would use an alphabetic feature but I wouldn't object if it was one of the filter options.

It would also be nice to be able to do this in the Admin Dashboard - Manage Teams. Very strange this isn't implemented.
How is this feature missing? Sorting is one of those things computers do really well. Trying to find a specific Team in my list is next to impossible.

The ability to sort Teams through the sidebar using a quick alphanumeric sorting function would be greatly appreciated from a development standpoint.
We make extensive use of teams and have over 250 projects active in teams at this moment, sorting through them quickly would be a welcome addition to this platform.
In addition to sorting the Teams, sort the Channels within the Teams by Date, Alpha.
Yes, we are also acknowledging the need for an alphabetic sorting function in the teams list. The current one is almost as hard as finding the needle in the hay stack. A chronological order of when each team has been created / or added to that team.
This is much needed - I have 20 teams at the moment and it is really difficult to find the team I want to work in, especially with all the channels expanded out.
Sorting by other filters would be ideal, but teams may need tags for the type of team they are. For example, we have seperate teams for:
- staff PD - one team per staff member
- team per individual project and we have lots of projects on at any one time
- a team per functional area of the company
- teams for interest groups
- a team for group news
- a team for office
Just gets out of hand.
Another idea teams is the ability to group teams and collapse the group to simplify. Notification icons could appear at the group level to indicate items within teams in that group.
another nice way to view the teams would be a tiled view - full pane, without converstaion window - where I can select or sort my teams. This would increase my productivity greatly.
As I see it, we will be creating more teams and it is going to get too clumsy to use Teams and the individuals in our business will end up with our users rejecting Teams.
An expand-all collapse-all would be a big help too. Some of my Teams have over a dozen Channels and need a lot of viewing and scrolling that a collapse button could prevent.

That would be an awesome feature. Very frustrating for staff having to sort all the Teams manually.
