Activity Feed
Activity Feed - Only most recent (latest 2 weeks?) displayed in the activity feed.
I have noticed that in the Activity section you can only see the most recent information (something like the latest 2 weeks, I don't actually know the exact timeframe) if you filter by "Feed" or by "My Activity".
Nonetheless, if you filter by "Team Activity", you can see all the messages shared by the teams from the very creation of the Team. I think this is a good point that should be also applicable to Feed and My Activity in order to make easier to search certain posts and information.
I do not actually understand why history timeframe is different for each option...

Agreed. And, it would also be great if we could display Team Group Name AND Channel Name when displaying activity under My Activity feed.

Thank you to Tim Black for the very useful workaround. Without his workaround, "My Activity" history display is still limited to 17 days. A longer history would be more useful. I nominate Tim Black as a Teams UX consultant!

For self reporting I need to be able to search my own activity for a date range and see all results.
Today /activity does not accept me as Person to search!!What would be useful: /activity @me /from 04/06/2020 /to 05/06/2020
to bring back *all* interactions I've had over that date range : chats, posts, meetings, calls, ...Thanks,

Going to the Search box in Teams and entering
/Activity
prompts you to specify activity for a specific person, but it won't allow me to specify myself, and I do not see a way to focus the search on a specific date or date range either. Please allow us to search for our own activity and either add a Date Range or allow it to go much further back than what the "My Activity" feed shows (which for me is only about 2 days). One assumes it returns a restricted number of records, thus someone with higher activity will return a smaller date range...which makes it much less useful.

Hey Tim Black, thanks for the work around.
Sadly we shouldn't need a work around for a function like this. If Microsoft is going to offer an alternative to Slack then they should add the necessary features for it to function properly! The limited date range on activity is appalling. Not to mention a whole host of other issues around folder renaming etc.

A good workaround for the short 2 week window they use for "My Activity" is to instead do a Teams/channels-wide search for your name in quotes, then filter by the date range you want.

I came back from 3 weeks of absence right now and missed some notifications because of this. Please make it customizable.

After a holiday of 2 weeks no more activities to see? Extend it to 6 weeks pls

I also would like for activity feeds to go further back than 2 weeks. At least 6 weeks is needed for recalling activity over the past month.

Activity feed needs to be able to be filtered. Just me @s vs group @s.

And now the sent messages are displaying again. Is anyone else noticing this happening? good to know that they haven't been deleted anyway...

And now the "you will see your sent messages here." message is displaying again.

"You will see your sent messages here" displaying instead of actual sent messages:
About an hour ago in the "My Activity" view of the "activity" option within the Teams client I saw sent message history representing my activity in Teams. I use this to see what channel I may have posted in and then go there if I need to provide additional content for team members to consume. However , I've gone to "my activity" now and I don't see any messages at all. the preview pane displays "You will see your sent messages here". I assume that this is NOT by design. Please advise? -

It would be very useful (for personal reporting purposes) if the Activity Feed window went back 4 weeks instead of 2, or was customizeable.

Microsoft support has told me that the Team Activity was intentionally removed. I think it was a much nicer way of viewing everything that's going on across Teams. I do agree that I don't understand when items drop off of the various feeds though. I'm going to have to get much better at savings conversations since it's hard to go back and find anything.

I too see this as a problem.
Is there a way you could add a filter to the activity feed? I would like the ability to search for a specific time period that extends beyond 2 weeks.
