Add User Current Timezone as Part of Status
With team members traveling and often located across the world, it would be great to have an indicator of what timezone they are currently located in. Ideally, this would be based on their geographical location. If MSFT tracks this via internet connect or some other means, it would be great to display it as part of status or when hovering over the name/icon.
It would be very useful to have the option for ALL participants to see the timestamp in a single timezone. e.g. GMT/UTC One of the great things about persistent chat is that it provides a log of commentary that can be cited later. But without the option to display a standard timestamp value, citing a comment becomes much more arduous, because one must first determine the location of a recipient in order to quote to them the timestamp that they would have seen (so they can find the comment in their own copy of the log).
Didn't Skype previous have this same feature? I recall using it in a previous app.

That would be great to add
I am all for it. I think this would be an awesome feature to have.

I work across 5 time zones, this would be a really useful feature.

Also the conversation in the channel should show the time-posted label with a hover that displays what local time it was posted in. Furthermore, the Appointment scheduler should show options for the participants (most likely) timezone.
