Scheduled Do Not Disturb, like Slack
Do Not Disturb should block all notifications and I'd love to be able to schedule DND, like on Slack

Please give the option to set do not disturb. That would be so helpful, especially if it actually blocked all notifications at that time. It's so distracting.

Yes!!! I teach webinars and do sales demos for software via Zoom every day and the Teams messages are so intrusive! I also, obviously, need my computer sound to stay on while teaching or demoing to talk to my attendees so I can't just mute everything so that Teams doesn't ding in my ear!
And yeah, I know I could manually set DND but that adds to the mile long list of prep I already have to do and doesn't prevent me from forgetting and staying on DND until well after the session and I end up missing out on urgent notifications.

I agree with your presence automatically set to "Do not disturb", during a meeting or appointment. Unfortunately, the "Busy" presence does not prevent a user from sending a message while you are in a meeting! :(

There should be the option to set status of a meeting or appointment to either BUSY or DO NOT DISTURB. This would a huge benefit!

I use my computer and projector every day in class. If I forget to manually set DND on Teams, the kids see my notifications! If we could schedule DND for school hours this wouldn't be a problem.

A status of "Busy" in the Outlook calendar needs to automatically set the user's Teams status to "Do Not Disturb." Teams notifications are extremely intrusive when in a meeting, especially when screen sharing via a WebEx.

absolutely! Also - what happened to the "Show As" function that's available in Outlook for meetings that includes "Free, Working Elsewhere, Tentative, Out of Office" Let's get that functionality when making appointments thru Teams calendar.

Would be amazing. Much of the annoyance will be solved with OS level notifications. I have my Mac on DND during presentations or important deep work sessions and teams is the only app that has notifications still come through. Being able to schedule DND and custom message settings would be a great level up.

I would really like to schedule Do Not Disturb, I forget to set do not disturb when I have client meetings and find other people sending me questions via Teams whilst I'm trying to concentrate and I lose my train of thought.

I am the Director of Operations. This would be a game changer for my department. This morning we were in a year-end project review meeting in Teams for an hour and 5 of us spent more time defending chat interruptions vs the actual meeting tasks! You should have the same status options as in teams, in outlook to choose from when using the meeting integration. If I set an important meeting to DND then myself and others in the meeting should default to the same status. That way the meeting starts out focused vs we all get ping'd in the meeting and have to scramble to answer people and change our status. Lets face it, not many are respectful of our status lights. At least on DND they can't break through. We are all working more hours than we did in the office, please help us with our sanity!

I would find a scheduled DND Teams event to be invaluable, as like many others I schedule slots where I need to concentrate and interruptions from Teams are a distraction. My colleagues also ignore the Busy setting in Teams that shows you have a scheduled event and are actually busy. Sometimes this means I am in Zoom meeting (some of my colleagues much prefer Zoom for some reason..), so Teams doesn't automatically block their call and a colleague can call me on Teams. Ok - you can go into settings and choose DND but it gets annoying to do this every time. Busy surely should mean DND by default and you can change the settings to allow specific contact if you need??

I really want this, for example when I'm at an appointment or during lunch when I don't want to deal with pings. I do this all the time on Slack by entering in a simple command like "/dnd 2pm" which will set me to DND for however long until 2pm. Really need this for Teams as well.

I would really like this feature because even when I'm on DND, I still get flashing notifications, which interrupts my focus. I don't want to see the notifications at all.

My company is migrating from Slack to Teams and this is THE ONE feature which should be mandatory. How come anyone from my office can contact me after hours? I'm baffled, I will NOT download it do my mobile unless they give me a corporate device that I can turn off every day.

Any chance of this happening?
This would be awesome! We just rolled out Voice on teams and our staff is asking for this. To be able to let them know they could select or schedule a time for this to turn off after X or in the morning would be awesome!
