Since Microsoft has decided to lock the user out of selecting fonts, why isn't the default font monospaced? Copying in data which relies on its formatting to be readable is horrible in MS Teams.
E.g. Data from SQL queries, in any application which has (or allows) mono spaced font, the tables are perfectly readable, in Teams, they're a complete mess.
I should not HAVE to use the mouse of i dont want to. Like in Slack
There is no style option when I click on the format icon. I should not need to 'code snippets'. That is ridiculous. This is supposed to be easier and better the Skype. Where is the easier part?

I you click on the format button, you get a drop down, where you can select Code as style, and that uses monospaced font. (Don't know for how long this option has been available.)
I would like smaller fonts so Teams takes up less of my screen!
You can use monospaced text by typing ``` to begin a code snippet.
