Please add a screen printing (snipping tool) in teams so we can capture part of our screen to show our team members.

I was looking for Teams to be on shar from Snip & Sketch. Like I can share to Teams on Android.
This would be great, I use the Take a Screenshot shortcut inside of Outlook when sending a new email. This has been huge to stay in the same task, take the screenshot, without opening a new tool separately. I can do it multiple times in a row without having to copy/paste the images.

YES, this would be definitely useful.
Always using another snipping tool and finally copy&paste shouldn't be a state of the art solution.
On top it would be useful to add arrows, lines, comments to the captured part too.
Even ancient IBM Sametime is able to do it.

this should be easy to integrate with Teams. Come on~
Integrate Windows snipping tools to Microsoft Teams Desktop!!

I would also like to see this integrated.
however I'm a huge SnagIt fan which comes with so many better features overall. However even using SnagIt I'm having the problem that when I initiate my capture the floating call status menu always pops up at the bottom of the view in front of the active shared content. Has anyone figured out a way to hide this so I only see and capture the content itself? This was offered with a "Content" view in Skype which worked really nice.
With all of the apps they have, I am very surprised that they do not have a simple screen clipping option SOMEWHERE within Teams. Everyone will use that feature, many daily.
We are migrating from Lotus Sametime to Teams and while teams is pretty nice so far, the biggest shortcoming of teams is the inability to easily send a section of your screen to chat partners. In Sametime there is a button on the chat client you can click to get a selection rectangle that lets you select part of your screen. You can then paste the screenshot into chat and send it or you can edit the screen shot by marking it up with a highlighter or box drawing tool before pasting. This works pretty much indentically to the windows built in snipping tool except there is no extra step to get it into the sametime chat window.
This feature in sametime is great for our users who are call center staff who use IM for collaberation extensively. When an agent has a problem or a question they can quickly snip a portion of their screen into chat and send it to a supervisor when asking for assistance. Its also great for me when troubleshooting something with a user I can quickly send a selection of my screen with maybe a red box around the item they need to click on to do what they want.
Taking a screenshot via print screen/alt+print screen and pasting it into chat is not a good solution since many of these users are not technically savvy and remembering keyboard shortcuts is very difficult for them. Also the ability to only show the section you've selected combined with the ability to mark it up with a pen/box tool before sending makes it easy to point things out to other chat recipients.
It would be great if there was a button down with the font/gif/attachment icons that when clicked turned your cursor into a selection cross (as in the snipping tool) that you would then use to select your screen. After selection, a preview view would be shown where you then have the option to make changes by drawing on the screen snip(again, just like in snipping tool). These drawing options would include pen, highlighter, and box drawing tools for the purpose of drawing attention to sections of the screen snip. After making your changes (or not) you could then press a button to paste it into chat or another to cancel. Once pasted into chat it woulc act as any other image with the ability to either immediately send or add text along with the image.
Yes, please! I use the Screen Clipping in Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote all day long. It's on my Quick Access toolbar in all of these products. I can see how powerful Teams is and it would be great if this tool was included.
PUHLEASE add this feature. Using Snagit and cisco jabber to then put the saved image into teams isn't horrible but it shaves off teeny tiny seconds of my life that'll add up to weeks when I retire. I beg you MS, add some line of code or whatever ya'll kids do these days. We need a snippet/screenshot tool.
I am an fan of the snipping tool, generally speaking. The one aspect that I would want to see enabled more simply is to be able to draw on the sniped image in some basic shapes (without going over to Paint 3D and saving a file of the image).
To be able to draw some basic, but clean boxes or circles on the image would be great
Hi, I am using Snipping tool v 6.1.7601.
I would like to say that when i choose "Custom Pen" with the color White in order to erase few objects on the snipped image, I AM UNABLE TO VISUALIZE THE BOUNDARY OF THE PEN SINCE I AM USING WHITE PEN ON A WHITE BACKGROUND PICTURE.THIS CAUSES ME TO HOVER THE PEN HERE & THERE TO ARBITRARILY LOCATE THE WHITE PEN ON THE AREA OF INTEREST ON THE IMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO I REQUEST TO PLEASE PROVIDE SOME KIND OF VISIBLE BOUNDARY AROUND THE PEN SO THAT USER CAN LOCATE EASILY.
Need to be able to capture screenshot

Include the feature of highlighter tool to draw straight lines when SHIFT key is pressed.
Why this isn't in the tool already is mind boggling.

I loved the screen capture tool that was in Windows 7. I really hate the one in Windows 10. There are more steps to doing a screen capture in Windows 10. Frequently I don't have the time to find the icon, open it, select new, and then copy what I wanted on the screen. It is often gone by the time I do all of that. Can't we have the same functionality of Windows 7 where you just pressed the windows key and you could take your screen shot?
a copy of the outlook insert screenshot would be amazing. give option to insert a window, a full monitor, or a custom selection would be perfect instead of having to use another program and then save and drag/drop into it
