Let us move messages between conversations
The confusing UI design constantly causes people to start new conversations rather than replying to existing conversations. We have to remind people every day to please use the reply box below the message you're replying to. That doesn't fix the problem that they've already started a new conversation.
Please give us the ability to click and drag a message to move it into a different conversation so we can fix these inevitable mistakes.
I realize it's possible for the person who entered a message to delete it and retype it correctly, but having to explain that is even worse than having to explain about new conversation vs reply.
Hey all... If you are following this, add your vote here as well: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/19224826-better-visual-delineation-between-reply-and-sta
It seems to have a bit more traction with the developers.

A) there should be a channel manager role that allows this new functionality.
• allows them to move new conversations into replies (ideally going into the correct spot via timestamp and maybe having a small one-line message at the bottom of the conversation notifying that a reply was added above with a link to it). Any replies to the conversation would also be moved to the new conversation.
• They would also be able to break replies into a new conversation if it makes more sense and move any replies to that reply to said new conversation.
B) Anyone can mark a conversation as needing to be a reply to an existing conversation.
• The poster would get a notification of this
• The poster would be able to click a link/button which would move it to the conversation for them.
C) A poster always has the ability to move a reply to a conversation and vice versa (maybe drag-and-drop)
This functionality is very important to channels where there are many new users who are in the process of learning Teams. It's also important for the occasional mistake (and apparently for some management who seem to not have the time to find the right spot to click ☺).

Please, this woul be cool for a moderator even in the case the UI is selfexplainotory on when to reply and when to start a new conversation (which is not in the desktop app, but it is in the mobile version)

Would love this.
Not just a single message, but the ability to combine Conversations. This could be included with the requests of moving conversations between channels. If you want people to use your software, you need it make it easy for them to: rearrange conversations as things change over a period of time, fix their own mistakes, merge emails from outlook into a conversation, etc.
