Gif window preview size is too small
The preview of GIf's is much too small to be useful, with no way to resize.
This is crucial to brilliant responses in animated form.

Many GIF's include text, which is impossiple to read in previewwindow. And since it's a temporary Windows there is no reson to save space!
What is this? Gif window for ants? Fix Microsoft!

It's very disappointing that one of the most important features needed with teams hasn't been fixed in 3 years.

Slack does this MUCH, MUCH better - I understand it's overpriced, but now that I'm w/a company which uses Teams, I think it would be in MS' best interest to make their tool... you know... complete! :)
So this isn't getting fixed is it? Gotta love Micro$oft and their **** priorities. Pushing out new features faster than they can QA their **** or fix old bugs.

How am I supposed to have appropriately timed quality animated responses if i can't even see what I'm about to send, without selecting it first just to preview the full size...
I agree with this. I mostly cannot tell what a given GIF is actually showing. Likewise, having the GIF name or keywords as a tooltip when hovering over it would be really helpful.

Small & squashed - seconded! Anticipating the improvement. Telegram is a great model for what this should look like in Teams.
I agree. GIF previews are too small and horizontally squashed. Need to be bigger and preserve aspect ratio so I can see what I'm about to send.
