initiate group call from mobile
right now what blocks our option to deploy teams to all users is the fact that group calls can't be started from the mobile apps . it's a great start that now it's possible to join a meeting from mobile but not enough .
This feature request has been completed. Group calls can now be initiated from your mobile device.
Thank you for all your feedback and suggestions!

I have the Impression that there are two aspects on this topic:
1) to JOIN a group call or meeting which was set up in a channel works e.g. on iOS when you go to the details and click on the (in german truncated) button "join". This is a bit awkward and might give the Impression it does not work.
2) to create a Meeting in a channel obviously is not supported (on iOS) yet. So you can "consume" existing meetings but are left out for creation.

Still can not start in iOS
Joining or initiating group calls does not work in the mobile version. This used to work before but not sure why this function was taken out in one of the updates.
1:1 voice calls work already on iOS. But is a chat group is used, the iOS mobile client does not allow to start or join such a group call. You'll only see that a call was started or has ended in the chat history. This makes it very difficult for adhoc teams to communicate with each other. It doesn't make sense to create a team for ever combination of people just to be able to do voice calling.
