We are after reporting capabilities to capture granular detail on activity within Teams.
We would like to have data capturing:
1. Number of users enabled
2. Number of daily active unique users
3. Breakdown of devices uniquely used
4. Number of teams created
5. Number of teams deleted
6. How many instant messages sent overall in the Chat
7. How many calls made in Teams
8. Number of files shared in channels
9. How many combined ‘likes’ have been made over a period of time
Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
Just like in SharePoint you can see your Most Popular items/pages or how many views a document has received, this would be very helpful to have in Teams. Most popular Channel, document views, maybe from a Chat perspective, how many Chats a team member has posted.

I'd be interested to see how My Analytics might be leveraged by Microsoft Teams. Channels, Teams, Activity seem relevant particularly when Group functionality becomes available.

It would be nice to see a report of how many Teams are created and the storage usage for each team.

At very least basic info for Teams should make it into Admin Center > Reports > Usage
This would make it easy to see chat abuse!

A way to programmatically get data for team analytics would also be useful. Such as, who the members are, what/when was posted (or other activities).

Have a dashboard with filters to provide the ability to identify activity levels of members
This would allow viewing the most and least active contributors etc..
